After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko

Guy from my gym at home might be a strongman to watchout for in the future...I think he's 22-23, and just posted up a 340 axle for 1 clean, 3 presses, and a 365, 385 axle clean and press. He is ridiculously athletic and moves very well (back handsprings, etc) at a BW of 330-340.

googled it, not back handsprings that was my bad. I've seen him do some insane stuff though. Point is he's really goddamn athletic. There are some video compilations of him that are kinda cheesy but that doesn't make him any less impressive.
this was over a year ago and he's done nothing but get stronger since then.
plays football and stuff too. if he doesn't get hurt I think he could seriously go pretty far.YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/NorthStrongSC

Lol, me and that dude are NOT made out of the same thing. I played ball in HS and College with a couple guys like that, I used to work so hard to keep my numbers barely above theirs in the gym, but then they'd go out and dunk a basketball with 2 hands flat footed, or Power Clean 370 after not cleaning for weeks. Dat dere explosive powa...

03-12-2015, 11:50 AM #8756It'd be like staying fat while running marathons because it's more impressive to finish a marathon when you're overweight. It might be impressive in the short run, but in the long run it just doesn't make any sense. ~breathinglife
