A good cheap, lean cut for the crock pot would be a top round roast. Toss it in alone on low for 8 hours should be fine. I like to season it after cooking. The slow cooking can dull some of the flavors

Ditch the crock pot. Go with the pressure cooker. Braise the meat, add liquid and spices, and then seal the lid and let it do its thing.

The more I hear/read about the IPF, the more they seem like North Korea, the rules are the only things that matter and if you are caught breaking the rules, not only are you punished, but your friends and family are punished for the next 3 generations.

To play devil's advocate here, the rule is the rule. If a federation isn't going to comply with the rules there has to be some form of punishment. Banning the entire federation seems like overkill; instead I could see the IPF saying they will turn a lifter away from the platform if he or she isn't wearing the appropriate attire. But again, why not follow the rules?

I swear every other week something happens to make me ashamed to be a part of this federation. Seriously, as if women aren't going to wear a proper sports bra.

That's also an unfortunate precedent for those feds who were planning to ignore the belt and singlet rule on a local level (eg here in Canada and several European feds). I wonder if they will be coming after us for that as well. Speaking of, apparently Inzer, Titan and Metal still haven't paid the new approval fees - unsurprising given that it would probably near bankrupt them.
