Like this vid, but I prefer to back up a bit more so the band always has at least some tension on it. Just doing a standard ab wheel, it gets easier as the wheel gets closer to your feet/knees. With the band, the tension increases as the wheel gets closer, so it makes it difficult throughout the ROM.

Sure I'd be happy to: it's funny because there's no way he will ever hit 1900 at 220 in a Meet, but, like many Youtube sensations, he will always be "good for it" if you twerk the numbers just so. In his specific case, he's too damn big for the 220s. I don't see any way he'd have the 1,100 subtotal he would need provided he actually posts an 800 competition Dead (again not a guarantee) at that weight. Pete's what 6'? Name me the last 5'10+ guy who went over 1900 unwrapped at 220.

I'd be close if I did a water cut and actually hit the numbers I was doing in training at a meet. The morning I did 1829@230 I woke up at 227 lol. But I don't care if my total is in 220 or 242 makes no difference to me. Especially since I know some of these guys cut 20-30lbs to say they lifted x amount at x weight when we know that's not true.

Yeah, I'd say it's on the outer edge of realistic for you, ie. not completely impossible if you really wanted to (which would be stupid), but you're using competition numbers after an official weigh in not what adding and subtracting for a belt or what you say you're walking around at or hoping your grip holds up or having a labral tear (although it might have been a tare), etc. etc.
Also, I think Pete naturally (first time those words have been used consecutively) has a bigger frame than you.

Brb cutting to 220lbs on a 24 hr weigh-in but actually weighing 250+ on the platform. Makes sense right?
I've heard back in the very old days of olympic WL, if someone set a world record in a particular weight class, they'd be weighed right after they stepped off the platform.

Why do powerlifters always look for reasons as to why another lifter is stronger than them? People are so quick to pull the "leverage" card. "He has longer arms, he has shorter legs, he has a bigger penis". Listen.. At the end of the day in powerlifting, a lifter is stronger than you simply because he is stronger than you. It doesn't matter how or why he's stronger, he just is. You cannot control what others are doing, you can only control what you do. It's so funny how people are quick to point out height and leverages as if it's cheating. It's cheating that we're ALLLL made different? I don't get it. Powerlifting isn't about who has the strongest strength, it's about who has the strongest weakness. Those are the well rounded, top lifters. Quit making an excuse as to why someone is stronger than you, benches more than you, pulls more, or squats more. Cause at the end of the day, their total is greater and that's all that matters. Focus on yourself and progressing and quit talking about **** that you can't change.

Brb I only pull more than people cuz my long arms, has nothing to do with my strong back, hams, and glutes(no homo) ripping the weight off the floor.

He's done a 660 squat right? And his best pause in training is 420. 1080 there.
Not sure about if 220s is too tough for him to hit but it doesn't seem IMPOSSIBLE for him to hit 1100 (and finally hit 800+ pull in a meet)? He's still only like 22 or 23 years old.
Now if he trains at like 260 then probably forget what I said. But I was under the impression he's at about 240ish now. With more years of training and so on I don't see why it's not possible. I dunno why you'd rule him out. People hate on him for various reasons but it's just childish crap. He's very strong and all you need is one good day when you can put it all together and bam, 1900.202.5/135/245. Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=165241801.

I'm not familiar with many feds rules, but in RPS, I think when a record is broken (not sure what records count), they re-weigh you in. If your new weight is 2 classes above (that is weighing at 221+ while competing in 198) they use your new weight. Or something like that anyway.
