Being defending national champs doesnt matter idiot. Its about what you do THIS year, with your QB that is not a heisman candidate this year.
Florida St plays in a pathetic, poverty weak ass conference and hasnt looked good doing it. Theres your answer to why Oregon jumped you.
In all honesty, Bama should too..

I haven't read the whole thread but just wanted to drop in and say LOL @ Nebraska and the Big 10.
If they both win out I would bet Baylor will get the nod over TCU due to Baylor being the team that the Big 12 submits to the committee as its champion. The playoff committee polls are a weekly ranking of where teams are NOW, not where they think they will be at the end of the year. If Baylor beats K-State at the end of the year then that will mostly even up their resumes. Then it will just come down to non con SOS vs Conf. champion. I betting the committee sides with Conf Champion.Last edited by jimbong; 11-12-2014 at 07:56 AM.

Why wouldn't he leave? No way Urban plays him.... He has the chance like russel wilson did to transfer anywhere. It would be in his best interest to do so. If he goes into the draft now lolololol. I'm not saying he will be a good NFL QB ever, but one more year in college can't hurt (fully believe he will never play any meaningful games in the NFL anyways). Smith and Pryor were WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better QBs than Miller can even dream of being and look how far they got.

there's nothing to be gained by forcing the Big10 Player of the Year to transfer for one last year of football. There will be enough snaps for both Barrett and Miller next year. Michigan handled the transition from Denard to Gardner.
And smith/ pryor tried playing QB in the NFL, which was a mistake. Miller will probably convert to RB/ WR right away, so he should have a pretty good career, barring injury.

So you're saying even though the ACC has 4 teams in the top 25 and the fact that FSU has ZERO loses, they shouldn't be in the playoff picture? If Bama should jump FSU then why not TCU and all the other 1 loss teams?
If all these conferences are weak and poverty like many of you insist then why don't we have more undefeated teams each year? PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME, SRS.LOL @ people who follow politics

I personally think Braxton is all OSU, and would stay even if it meant playing in mop-up duty and on trick plays. No clue how he transitions to another college team that he doesnt know the offense and cant throw the ball to anyone, until near the beginning of the 2015 season. And lettuce not forget that JT runs the ball a lot too, hes one hit from being in the same situation as Brax next year.

If Bama beats Miss St, it will be:
1. Bama
2. FSU
3. Oregon
4. Miss St
FSU has to beat @ MIA this weekend. That's a good win, considering MIA has only lost to ranked opponents, with the exception of Louisville - (ranked top 30). Miami also has a W vs a ranked opponent. FSU will regain #2 this weekend if they get the W.
What i want:
FSU W until the playoffs.
AL to lose vs Miss St so Clemson can clap them cheeks with DW vs Bama' in the Orange Bowl.-Ethering Kings Founder & CEO

so, i just want to get this straight:
MSU vs Oregon:
- got outscored 28-0 over the last 3 quarters
- held scoreless the final 1.75 quarters
- outgained by Oregon, -2 TO differential
- 19 point loss
- people saying that the game was closer than the box score shows
- consensus: not blown out
ND vs ASU:
- ND was behind by 3 points with 5 minutes left in 4Q
- ND outgained ASU by 60 yards but was -4 in TO differential
- ASU scores TD with 0:52 remaining on a 4th down run to pad score rather than kicking FG/kneeling down
- 24 point loss
- consensus: "ASU blows out ND"
okay.
MSU got outclassed. Let's quit saying that the Oregon loss was a close one.
