This is how progress photos should be taken

Well actually truth is I do not know.

    but I know two things

the first is that everyone posts progress pictures but they are not consistent and different clothes, poses, lighting camera angles and cameras.

Makes it so I cant see $hit

The second is that someone has to know and can chime in.

What should be the golden rule for taking progress photos, how do we take pictures that actually show growth?

some people don't expect results from the beginning. its so dumb how people post progress pictures but thats what they do...
THIS is how it is supposed to be done and how I do it. same light, same setting, same pose, same time of day, same camera... NO FLEXING , NO sucking in stomache and don't do the **** AFTER you get a pump.

There is some really basic photo information on Youtube. One that I like is called Rembrandt Lighting. It is short and demonstrates basic lighting to keep the build from flattening out. Overhead lighting is just the worst. Some natural light through a window can produce some good stuff

well i don't think he needs to get that deep into it.. because you don't want the light to make you look better than you really look. it's just like taking pictures after u got a pump and flexing. you are decieving yourself
