Well right now I weigh 150. I'm benching 175... But been stuck at it for literally bout 2 months maybe 3. I don't get why my other bench numbers have gone up but one rep max. My bench has gone up from about 8 x 135 to 18 x135 and I can bench 3x165 now. I just can't get my bench any higher no matter what I try. Here's my bench workout if u wanna listen
Flat bench
Warmup 95x15, 115x10, 135x5
First set
165x3
Second
165X3
Third
165x3 or maybe 2
Fourth
145x7
I either do 3 sets of incline dumbell press or 3 sets of dips 12-8 reps
Then I do 3 sets of machine bench press 10-8 reps
I just feel like my bench max is never going up anymore and I need help
Also this is done once a week

there are two completely different forms for benching, depending on whether your goals or chest development, or to increase your strength. if you're content with your chest size and you just want to get your benchpress weight higher than i'd recommend a powerlifting bench press approach. arms tucked, back arched (yes back arched), and press using largely your lats and tris. i'm sure you can find a video on youtube

if you dont train to get stonger, you wont get stronger! what i mean is say you press 135 hypothetically and always use high reps! your body has never felt anything much higher to adapt to said strength! now say you bench 185 for 3 reps, because your body has felt something higher in weights you will also improve on your reps at 135! so basically, i know confusing, but in order to get your 1rm up you need to train in some sort of heavy lifting.... however to the opposite of that if you train heavy you will always be able to get light weight up for high reps!! hope i make sense... it really does make sense if told properly but its kinda hard to explain while im writing
