Hey guys, I been doing deadlifts for a while now with one problem, the bar scratches me just below the knees, its a small scratch but eventually I manage get the area to bleed.
Wearing pants doesnt help, any other options except high socks ?

You're going to scratch your shins up with deads if you're doing them right, you can't adjust your form when lifting heavy weight. That bar is going up and down, if you're leaning forward to miss your shins or swinging the bar you're asking for injuries beyond a few scratches.
You can invest in a hex bar but I find that is doesn't work so well for bigger guys.
Alternatively the shin guards aren't a terrible idea, I used to tape my shins up when doing deads but even those tend to shred after 5 or 6 sets.old broken soldier
