    IF has many different styles to the fasting. Many think it is the worst idea ever. I was one of those people. But I have been successful with the diet for a while now. Honestly, I love it and feel better.

    Which as the video talks about you have to fine and retool a window that works. And then your food choices, hydration etc are all taken into account.

    What if that doesn't work for me or my schedule?

    I like to eat a small 300-400 calorie meal after the gym in the morning, and eat the remainder of my calories for dinner. Why must you eat all your calories in an 8 hour window?

    Clicked the link expecting to read an article written by you, since it's your site. Instead I get a video of someone else's opinion on the topic. Yes, eating a caloric deficit works. Nothing magic happens by eating those calories in some arbitrary "eating window." It makes it easier to stay on a plan for some folks, others not so much.

    I've been using IF for a few years and still believe it to be the best 'biohack' of all.

    I use Leangains 8 hour feeding window style and weight train mid morning. I also throw in a 24 hour fast every fortnight or so. It helped me to go from 25% body fat to 10% in 6 month and enables me to walk around at 10-12% bodyfat all year round without having to count calories and never feel hungry or like I'm missing out somehow.

    I recomend it to anyone who asks from the overweight sedentary housewife to the competition bodybuilder. In my less-than-humble opinion you are mad if you dont make it part of your health and longevity arsenal.

    I've found strength gains to be pretty consistent. Still making PBs in all the major lifts - aadmitedly i' ve only been lifting for 4 years though.

    Personally I prefer to work out fasted, but perhaps that is not for everyone. Especially in the beginning.

It helped me to go from 25% body fat to 10% in 6 month and enables me to walk around at 10-12% bodyfat all year round without having to count calories and never feel hungry or like I'm missing out somehow.

    I recomend it to anyone who asks from the overweight sedentary housewife to the competition bodybuilder. In my less-than-humble opinion you are mad if you dont make it part of your health and longevity arsenal.

    You are 6'1" and weigh only 176 lb and you recommend IF to competition bodybuilders.

    I'm 190 lbs at 5'7" with 8% body fat.

    Just because you have low subcutaneous body fat does not make you muscular.
    How can you visualize training a muscle if you don't know its structure?

    I've used it, but honestly didn't really have any goals except for not being as fat. Seemed to work following a 5:2 for a couple months, but it would be have been more productive for me had I had a real cut goal in mind. It's surprisingly difficult to start and then surprisingly easy to continue. I'm not sure that it's something that you can follow for life though, especially if you're trying to bulk at all.

    I think it's always great if you can learn some things about your body, hunger being one of the most misunderstood. You *think* you're hungry around lunch time every day, but in reality you're just on a schedule. You can easily go 24-36 hours without any food and not feel any different really. I think it's a great thing to do occasionally.

    Some people go 7, or 10, or even up to 30 days fasting. Longest I've made it was 3 days, after about 48 hours you go into ketosis and then you get to see some interesting things happen to your body. After about 4-5 days you reach the actual state of "Starvation Mode" that all these fad diets think they understand.

    IMO, nothing wrong with it at all. Great to flush your body occasionally.
