    Forgive me father for I have sinned

    Just want to went it! Been on a diet of roughly 1200 cals/day for 6 days and today I screwed it up, gobbled down like 3000 cals. Even though I had the occasional food-cravings, everything seemed alright until yesterday. But today turned out to be a disaster. F me!!! Anyone else have a tip on how to make it through in times of giving in to food?

    This is excellent advice. I'm female, 5'3, 150 lbs. Even if I wanted to lose weight and cut, my calories would be higher than 1200. As a 5'9 guy that's probably not enought for you.

    I don't know. Im 6'0 and at 1550 cals and havent lost any fat or weight in 2 weeks, hope its a "whoosh" problem and i "woosh" soon lol

    If you're 180lb, eating 1550 calories/day, and working out and you're not losing weight, you're eating more than 1550 calories/day.

    Thanks man! Yeah, I panicked as it usually leads to a week of binging. As for calories, I know its a bit restrictive, but I need to get down to 140lbs in a few wks, so that's the reason for it.

    I know, but its either seeing results in wks for or just forget it. I wouldn't have the willpower to diet for months. At least it works, but at times it drives me nuts. Thanks.

    Damn! I'm not sure why that is, but maybe as others have said, your calculations might be off. Though sometimes I plateau too, but only for a day or two, not for wks. Though I'm no expert, but if not that, then cut ur calories further.

    I am starving and miserable on anything less than 1600 and I only weigh 138 lbs, so Idk wtf you're on 1200 calories for

    edit: ^just read above, in that case you should just straight psmf it, don't even bother with carbs at that caloric intake they'll just make you hungry and cause another binge

    So I weighted my self this morning (I always weight saturday mornings after breakfast and dump) and 1,75 lbs lighter So 0,85lb/week avarage seems good!

    i should eat more. 1200 is not even enough to make your daily issues/works.
    and you cant eat something you wish to eat rarely, maybe eating once per 2 week is ok.

    1200 Cal? There is your problem, starving yourself is almost always going to end in tears......this time a 3000 cal binge sesh of tears!

    500 calorie deficit is all you need and work from there. Cardio to increase the deficit.

    1200 calories. What you trying to do? Unless your 1200 calories is 85% protein your gonna loose muscle. Try like 1800 calories maybe 2000 depending on your size
