so people in Alabama are truly retarded, someone proposed a constitutional amendment to enact a ban on the implementation of foreign laws in the state and people voted it through instead of b*tch slapping the proponents and pointing out that by definition a "foreign" law is one that is not part of the U.S. legal system and if a provision is implemented than it is no longer a "foreign" law but a domestic one.
furthermore, since the U.S. constitution already has a separation of church and state then no Shariah Law could be implemented into our legal system.
even by Corky standards, they are pretty slow in Alabama.
