    Please help!

    Hi guys,

I've been hitting the gym now for about a year and want to get bigger.

I had been taking PhD mass gainer for a few months and did notice an increase in size but I just didn't order another and now a month later I am definitely feeling a bit smaller/weaker.

I am training for looks more than anything, I want to get ripped, defined and bigger.

Please can somebody give me some advice on some supplements I can take to achieve this.

I am eating the right foods I just need that extra boost.

    Any advice would be fantastic.

    Cheers

You saw with the mass gainer an increase in size for the simple reason that it probably brought your calorie intake above your TDEE.
You can and should be able to do that with whole food alone. Find out your TDEE, track your macros and eat in a slight caloric surplus (200-400).

First, understand that growing muscle while maintaining a low bodyfat is difficult to accomplish, and impossible for some without incredible dedication to caloric counting and well-made gym routines.

If you're eating the right foods, you wouldn't need a mass gainer. A supplement will not make a massive difference to achieve the goals you laid out. How many calories above maintenance are you eating right now?

Your getting smaller because your diet lacks calories not because of the gainer. You need to eat more food.
If you want to get bigger you need to eat more and go into a caloric surplus
if you want to get tones/ripped and lose fat then you need a caloric deficit

pick a goal and go after it.

    If Cutting Read the following:

I highly suggest you read here regarding your diet:

If Trying to add some size:

Eat in a caloric surplus, meaning eating more kcals than you need to maintain in order to gain muscle, size, and strength.

^^ Aside from this the basics will do you just fine.

    Multivitamin, creatine, fish oil.

If you need the boost before you work out a pre-workout like ErgoBlast wouldn't hurt the cause either
Picking things up and putting them down since '09
