If you used equipment (knee sleeves and belt [yes I do believe my knee sleeves add to my squat]) to attempt your 1RM
and punched the number into a program.
There are workouts on that program that are light sometimes and I don't need equipment,
contrary but it seems only right to do every set with equipment since if you punched in your unequiped number a lot of workout will be ever easier and it might be designed like that for recovery and speed purposes
Secondly, I feel I am getting dependent on my belt for deadlifts (it increases my deadlift by about 20/45lbs), would it be wise to run a program without your belt?
Thanks guy

Don't listen to them. The sleeves keep your synovial fluid warm in your knees. Put them on to warm the knees up at the beginning of the session. Wear the belt too. That will let you do heavier working sets which is going to have more carryover. I squat 700 and out the belt on at 225. If you want to do accessory work beltless after working sets that is ok.

My sleeves go on before I start warming up squats and my belt goes on around 50% weight and on every working set. I don't belt for deadlift accessory work because it's usually lighter anyway.
