Just started watching it, but he talks about how Kai's outburst at the O wasn't what they envisioned champions to be
Says he would absolutely NOT take Kai back as a client
Kai shouldn't have pulled out of the Prague show, he needed to lose
In the past Kai said he was focused on beating Heath (2011)

Imo Kai was more consistent when he worked with Oscar. Kai's best showing with George was 2012 Olympia and we are not even sure it was George who preped him that year. But still i think a coach can only do so much. In the end its up to the athlete. I think Kai should drop George and try someone else. He has nothing to lose really because he can come in at 90% and still get second every year at the olympia at worst.Music Crew

Some people would say his physique hasn't improved (he hasn't gotten into super conditioned).
Before he left Oscar, he was either 2nd/3rd (against Phil and Jay) depending on the year
After he left, hes still 2nd.
Kai unfortunately hasn't been able to achieve the goal he wanted to do with Oscar, be number 1.Frustrated at bodybuilding? Read my rant:

Yeah, but he always ****s up come olympia time. I was referring more to (as Bart said) his two AC wins. After his second win in 2010 against Phil and his strong showing at the Aussie Pro? right after, Kai was at the peak of his career. He had already beaten Phil at the 2009 Olympia and beat him again at the 2010 AC when Kai was off and Phil looked his best. As far as I remember, it was assumed he more or less surpassed Phil and was going to fight Jay for 1st at the Olympia. so pre 2010 Olympia, I would have done the "unofficial" rankings as 1.Jay 2.Kai 3.Phil. 2010 was Kai's shock placing, like Phil and Dennis in 2009. Kai eventually came back and (unofficially) beat Jay in 2011, making him 2nd. But that means he has gotten 4 straight 2nds ("2011", 2012, 2013, and 2014) and he hasn't been able to move up since he left Oscar.
Bottom line: Right before he ****ed up at the 2010 O and left Oscar, he was de facto the 2nd best bodybuilder in the world. Since he left Oscar, hes still (by placing) the 2nd best bodybuilder in the world. He hasn't been able to move up that last notch, unfortunately.Frustrated at bodybuilding? Read my rant:

You should always have a bottle of water for the person you are interviewing...dry mouth is a common symptom of being nervous. Hence why you always see athletes/coaches in pressers with a bottle of water when talking et.
Anyways, interesting take was Oscar stating that maybe he needs to train for the OLYMPIA like a boxer would for a fight, remove himself completely from social media et., and do a prep with no or very little distractions. It sounds as though Kai has a very fragile mindset during prep, maybe Oscar was on to something when he mentioned Kai removing himself completey when prepping.
I think it was Levrone that said during his prep he would literally remove himself from society. Sleep on the floor with guns, train with a soldiers mindset, up at 5am everyday, never went out with friends to hang out et. Ray was the opposite, used to go to the movies hang around buddies during his prep without it phasing him. Everyone is different obviously and with social media now, there are huge distractions.THE LEVRONE 2016 MR. OLYMPIA COMEBACK

-- Kai comes in great shape in 2012
-- Apparently he was getting help with his prep from Ron Noreman
-- Kai denies that he worked with Ron, says it was all George Farah
-- Ron calls him out. Kai calls Ron a "parasite"
-- Dave Palumbo stays at Ron's house and is shown text messages that Kai had sent, asking him beginner questions like when to do his cardio (but Dave's a known liar, and text messages can be faked)
-- "Undercover pro" on the BLS forum backs up Ron's story (but we're not sure if UCP really is a pro, or has even met Kai or Ron)
So who knows what to believe. We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.

10-30-2014, 11:26 PM #27Why are people assuming he's talking about Ron Norman?
There's a 9 page thread from when the scandal first broke...wow, so there's a picture of Kai posing with Ron. I don't remember that before. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=149682903
