i am indian and let me tell you, being indian is actually a great thing. we have beautiful people and we have ugly people. just like any race. I for 1 am a great person, have great friends, and i take care of every one that is in my life and i am glad to do it, and for that i have people that love me around me. also, indian parents are one of the best parents you can have. sometimes they can be really strict, but they will take care of you no matter what, and they will buy you what ever it is that you need. as long as your not a selfish ****head. Also, we all have great jobs, lots of money and a family that we all love and take care off. suck my dick op suck my dick

How obedient are you to your parents? Have you lived in the US all your life? If so be your own man, appreciate the culture you're from but explain to them that thats not the direction you want to take (assuming you don't want an arranged marriage). They will be upset and they will argue with you for a long time but in the end they want you to be happy. They believe that this arranged marriage will make you happy and not some sloot you've been dating on/off for a couple years in high school. Break it off with the sloot, and go out there and search for your one and only.
Life is in your control.

Hindu/Sikh: Dharmic religions, they're quite different from each other but a lot of Hindu families including mine believe in tenets of Sikhism, so we basically practice a fusion of the two religions
Idk, there are lots of complications with marrying Muslims/Christians. Indians aren't openly racist but when it comes to family/reproduction we're very insular~ Desi crew ~

I don't really mind arranged marriage. It's got low divorce rates even outside India and I know probably just 5 arranged marriages that have failed in all my life. It's done to preserve our culture too, there's more likeliness of my children speaking my native language fluently and practicing our traditions if I marry someone from my ethnicity. It's got advantages
Most of my cousins were engaged around 26. I'm just shocked I've got 5 years left and das it mane
I better not get a sloot~ Desi crew ~

I'm not 'forced' to choose, I can pick who I want from my community, tell my parents, and they'll communicate with her parents. Or, your parents suggest a girl to you, and you decide whether or not you'll marry her so you can turn it down if she's unattractive/has a reputation. That's generally how Indian arranged marriage works these days

And you sir are clearly not aware of cultural differences..
"They will be upset and they will argue with you for a long time but in the end they want you to be happy" just lol... Wouldn't be unheard of if they ever speak to him again.
His family will look like a joke to other families due to the fact that he's not with an indian girl.

You could man up and tell your parents to go F themselves? I'm 31...white, blue eyes, and light hair. I pretty much only date south american/hispanic girls. Brazilian, Colombian, Argentinian, etc. My parents don't like it but a single fuk is not given. Plan to be moved out by 26 and do whatever the hell you like.
