Enjoy the pain bro.
I've had one a few years ago, tastes like ****. Pizza and hungry jacks is god.
lol PM gym name. I occasionally go to powerfitness and that's full of juicers bigger and shredded than myself
Enjoyed your old log, Good luck in your cut. Yeah the body sucks like that, maybe try fluctuating more between days, say instead of 3400 every day, then 3300 then 3200, try 2800 one day, 3400 the next, 3200 the next, 2800 again if you're not active, and so on..
But yeah I know what you mean. All the matters is the end result though.
Welcome m8
Well I would need to count macro's to be able to fit them. I would say randomly swinging from 2500 to 3500

I'm 5 foot 9.5 inches and 168 lbs at the moment, im on dat cut eating 2200 cal 170 protein 60 fats and carbs falls anywhere after I meet those. Does that seem right? I cut down from 182 lbs on these same macros but I feel like I'm stalling a bit, but still getting very slow minimal progress like 0.5-1lb a week off. I don't do cardio either

Is carb cycling legit or is it just outdated science and is it really that good for cutting
Also do you carb cycle at all or do you just work on a deficiet and do cardio
What do you think about muscle loss on a cut. Personally I think it's quite overrated and you don't lose that muchNo Fap since Feb 3/2013.

1lb a week is still good, I mean if that keeps up you would still slowly get shredded right. 2200 is about what I needed to lose weight at 168 lbs.
Do cardio! HIIT if you must or just be active outdoors for 30-60 minutes.
Low is relative, some day's I've been on 30-40g, others I've gone as high as 120 (when cutting). If you're on 60 everyday then there's no reason you cant have 80 grams one day and just cycle your carbs. Try upping your fats some days to keep the same calories, you can reduce protein and carbs to compensate.
You can do a deficit any way you like, it will depend on yourself how you handle low carb. But try not to lock yourself in to 24 hour clock. I mean you can have protein and veggies at night then eggs in the morning and have carbs again after training or lunchtime, that gives you at least 12 hours without carbs or more. Or you could have lots of carbs for lunch and dinner, then just protein/fats in the morning before you train and then consume carbs post training.
Going from 20% to 15% you wont lose much, 15% to 10% you will lose a little, 10-6% you will lose quite a bit. I like to think of it you're not losing all muscle, you just had more fat to lose than you thought.

New Progress, this is post training so pump pics. 86.4 kg this morning
My right shoulder isn't healing quick, I'm feeling it every time I do pressing or pulling, could be a rotator or bicep tendon. I can train but just lighter so It doesn't get aggravated. Going to have to give it time. **** like this happens every time I cut lol, doesn't want me keeping gains, damn gains monster

Hi man. Wondering if you know anything about thyroid problems and cutting? (The one that makes your metabolism slower)
Can't cut at 2200 (without cardio). I'm currently trying 2k + cardio, but what would you do if that wouldn't work? Is 1500 to low or doesn't it matter since a 500 deficit is a 500 deficit no matter what kcal at?

On my first comp cut I was dropping as low as 1600 some days, def under 2000 most days, Before I did refeeds. So yeah if you're shorter than me you may need lower cals or more cardio. There has to be SOME point where you will start to lose weight, you don't have some magical body everyone has their tipping point.
cheers

How helpful do you feel refeeds are? I've been cutting about 26 days now, I haven't had one yet. I'm considering maybe doing one this weekend. Also do you ever get stalls in your weightloss when your body is retaining more water or is it mostly linear for you? I've lost about 8lbs so far but now the scale has barely moved for the last 13 days or so. It's a bit of a mindfuk because i've been strict and I'm visibly leaner, I can tell my waist is shrinking as well, so I know I'm retaining some water.

das it mane
I feel a very powerful burn when I do them, I've added 2 sessions a week, basically 14 mins of exercise and I'm already noticing changes.
Refeed every 7-10 days IMO.
Here's my last 10 days
86.8kg 20-01-15
86.8kg 21-01-15
86.5kg 22-01-15
86.9kg 23-01-15
87.0kg 24-01-15
86.3kg 25-01-15
86.8kg 26-01-15
86.4kg 27-01-15
86.3kg 28-01-15
85.6kg 29-01-15
As you can see I didn't stall, but I did eat more on the 23rd the 26th and tonight of the 29th as I dropped low again. I'm enjoying a Cider with dinner and having extra's. If I wake up heavier tomorrow I will eat normally, If I'm still on target I may eat a little more until lunchtime.
If you're stalling you need to act quick and make things happen. Because It's pretty much wasted time.
Actual supplements? none I hate fat burners and OTC supplements because I never know what weird stuff they're putting in them. Caffine gives me enough of a buzz, I'll usually have a coffee in the morning for 3-4 days in a row then take a few days break then start again. I just like the taste anyway.

Current pics are already looking sick!
I was wondering, what do you think about meal timing and what timings (with caloric value) do you prefer?
I read a lot of people are hyping IF, I tried it to for a while. It was blunting hunger somewhat, but I can't say I was feeling really good on it. I was more anxious and feeling down. Trying a more traditional approach now, with typical breakfast and most calories during the day, then a smaller dinner, feels good.

I've found meal Timing to be unimportant. I mean on the days I would be going out for a big dinner/drinks I would eat breakfast and a small lunch and then eat big that night. Returning to normal in the morning, maybe lighter breakfast. I just adapt my eating to fit what I'm doing.
If you finish eating at 8pm and then wake up for breakfast at 7am, then that's pretty much 12 hours of fasting right there, I don't see how an extra 4 hours would make a difference and you gorging on food.
The deficit is what makes diets work, not the timing or the types of food. So something balanced you can easily follow and make that deficit is best. Some people find it easier with IF so good on em.

do you start to go a bit flat after being in a calorie deficit after a while? been cutting 12 weeks with refeeds, but I can't seem to shake off the flat look except for the day after refeeds. Is it once you hit a certain bf % then it's basically inevitable, or is there any way around this?
Looking good brah, one can already see the added muscle really well.adde parvum parvo magnus acervus erit.
