Sleeping with more than 20 women protects men against prostate cancer, a study has suggested.
Men who had slept with more than 20 women lowered their risk of developing cancer by almost one third, and were 19 per cent less likely to develop the most aggressive form.
In contrast, men who slept with 20 men doubled their risk of developing prostate cancer compared with men who have never had sex with another man.

Well if you can't sleep with more than 20 women to lowered the risk of prostate cancer you can go for the alternative.

The conclusions don't make much sense to me. If the mechanism is what they think it is (ejaculation frequency), then actual sex shouldn't really matter much. The guy jerking it to porn every day should experience the same benefit. Also, you know what they say about correlation. There may be pre-existing hormonal/health differences in the self-selected group of men who choose to have sex with 21+ women that contribute to their overall lower risk. It may have no causal relationship whatsoever with sexual activity.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

I kind of agree with what you are saying....however, as a general rule of thumb with the human body, the old adage " use it before you lose it" seems to hold true..lol....
I think you would probably find that usage of almost anything in regular fashion, whether it be limbs, your brain, sex organs, etc, is better for you in some survey.....Lift as MUCH as you can, for as MANY reps as you can,
while in complete control of the exercise.

OK. Preventing prostate cancer is pretty simple by keeping an eye on your PSA level every 60 to 90 days. You can throw caution to the wind and get an examination by a urologist once a year, but why chance it, the blood test is less than fifty bucks at some testing labs. The lower the level the better it is for you. Studies have shown even higher is better for some men, but that is only in 1 out of 4 men. I keep my PSA level around 1.9-2.8ng/ml. every month by going to the VAMC and have my blood tested for the PSA level. The level will fluctuate depending on the foods, liquids, and supplements I've taken during the month and because cancer can spread throughout the body and biopsies are very painful.
Let your levels hover above 4 then a biopsy is in order. I remember seeing an older gentleman walking around the urology clinic area like he had sore feet.
I asked him what was wrong he said, "I just had a prostate biopsy and the **** hurts like hell, I can't even sit down!" Let your PSA hover around 8-9 ng/ml. or higher you're asking for trouble. Once that cancerous gland is removed say goodbye to all and any future erections.
A slow agonizing sexless life follows after that unless you become a good c-linguist. lolLast edited by Taichichuan; 11-05-2014 at 11:33 PM.

Nope. Constant monitoring as you suggest does not prevent prostate cancer. It only provides early detection. Prostate cancer is so slow at metabolizing that testing is really only needed once a year. What you are looking for is a trend. If your PSA value increases every year, you need to be concerned and possibly have other tests. If it is stable, then you are likely OK. My PSA has been holding steady around 9 for the past 10 years. No sign of cancer, though.
Also, PSA testing has been found to be almost worthless. A more reliable indicator is Percent-Free PSA testing. But even that is not very reliable. The best indicator is DRE (finger up your butt). The doctor looks for nodules on the prostate gland. It is currently the most reliable indication of prostate cancer. If done annually it provides enough of an early indication to catch it before the cancer spreads beyond the prostate. See http://www.cancer.org/cancer/prostat...ncer-detection for more info.
When I had my prostate biopsy, it took about 10 minutes. It did not hurt and I walked down 2 flights of stairs to my car with no pain. No problem sitting in the car, either. It is important to make sure you get a good doctor, not a hack.O─O York Barbell Crew #53 O─O

A man's body is not made to retain prostatic fluid in the prostate any longer than can be avoided. It goes stale and it seems that the stale fluid becomes carcinogenic.
The issue then is not how many women a man sleeps with, but how frequently he ejaculates.
There would not be many men who don't possess at least one working hand. My experience (and that of most men who are honest) is that that is all you need. Doesn't hurt, in fact nice to do.

"Lack of knowledge" and damn trolling. Give me a fycking breaking! This is bro-science you "learned men" of medical science. Where the hell did I write that monitoring PSA will prevent goddamn cancer? You *******. That's your oversight when reading the post. I've been having my prostate gland monitored for years and even my doctors, doctors you damn idiots, told me don't let my PSA stay over 4 and at 7-9 they become very concerned because cancer is more susceptible to develop at that level Why should I doubt a doctor and I have the damn Internet to verify it.
You fyucks think you are damn know-alls! Read and stop getting this **** off the top of damn heads! Small brain clowns.
