In other CoD's I could use the semi-auto rifles quite well but I'm phucking lost with it in this one. Then again that's how I feel about the game in general when playing.

It doesn't help that the trigger on the X1 is so soft and mushy, it's hard to keep hitting the trigger sometimes and I end up dying because my guy stops shooting. Although it could just be my small childish handles that struggle here.

Nah, I used to when the game came out because I used to go overboard with the moves and all that, but Scavenger and Toughness are on every class pretty much. And I use Peripherals on everything too, with the wider map view you can often catch everyone else blasting all over the place and prep accordingly.

System Hacks are less prevalent in other game modes, they seem pretty spammy in Dom though.

i've been playing ground war when i do play this game and system hacks are non-stop. i always run hard wired when playing that game mode. has there been any sort of news or leaks about the setting that trey arch's cod will take place in? i really hope it will be taking place in the past and not in the future. i thought blops 2 was way too far overboard with futuristic crap but this game is just too much.

I've hated Ground War in most every game, that gametype really attracts the dickheads that think they've got a Youtube career of 100 kill games in the making. I never run offensive killstreaks though, so it's probably just me. I run UAVs and System Hacks, and sometimes not even System Hacks. With more teammates means more dummies that will feed the enemy team, so I prefer the 6v6 sort of stuff.

It combos well with Peripherals, or maybe Peripherals makes it less necessary. Since returning to the game I've found that there's less of a need for the Exo moves than I thought. With unlimited sprint it makes taking the slight detours a little less painful. So while you've got people abusing the Exos and pinging all over the map, you can stay grounded and work your way to them.

The Exo moves are also quite loud anyways, and you can usually get a feel for where someone is at when they're using them. And you can also use it to your advantage in some situations. Example being you've taken a shot or two and are running away. You turn the corner, hit the Exo Boost, and the guy chasing has to realize one of two things have happened.

1. You're running for your life hoping you can regen the health. This seems to be most people's mindset and once the ping goes off it only makes them get sloppy and hasten their efforts to catch up.

2. What I like to do is Exo Boost after hitting the corner, and while boosting start the 180 and lay down. The ping goes off, the guy tries his best to catch up, and runs right into your line of sight. Of course you don't need to lay down, you could boost behind a box, into an adjacent corner, etc.

Also, as an aside, if one doesn't exist, there should be a fully auto AMR9. I really like that gun, but the burst delay is pretty much a death warrant against the widely whored out ASM1.

And lastly, the previous games spoiled me, but having to get attachments back again is balls. If you've ever tried to unlock a Stock on a MK14, ARX-160, or IMR you can sympathize.

Sold this horrible CoD back to gamestop already. And if you want proof of how bad advanced warfare is, I only got $22 in store credit for it, including the 10% bonus for being a member. That's the fastest drop in resale value for any CoD ever. Shoulda got at least 35 - 40 bucks but I guess gamestop corporate knows how worthless the game is too.
