It's not real clear what Sorinex makes and what Reflex makes. My XL rack I'm fairly certain is a product of Sorinex. I have the NP bench and I'm not real sure on it. Regardless of who built it, it is built like a tank.
Edit: Oh and about the pants. I never where pants or underwear while working out. I like seasoning my equipment like grandma does her cast iron skillet, only I do it with nut and chode sweat.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #47

What is the basis for this conclusion? There are still products on their website that I'm fairly confident are made by Reflex. GI made a good post a while back about what was made by who.
Iirc, if it has a white frame in the photo, it's probably made by Reflex. That's most of the machines, one of the benches, and some other stuff. I think they also made some of the bars like the Naked Bar.
From what I understand both make quality equipment. I've owned a Sorinex/Reflex R-12 bench and it was well made. My only complaints are that the foam padding could have been better and that some of the bolts and other hardware were welded over and painted over. I would prefer to be able to take it apart at the hinge for ease of moving (it weighed 125lbs) down narrow stairs. Disassembly would also make refurbishing easier. It was an older used bench though and it's likely that there have been changes over the years. There was a recent review of a new Reflex rack and bench...iirc, all of those issues were addressed. The review is well worth reading if you are considering a new power rack and/or bench.Last edited by morebarbell; 10-26-2014 at 02:05 AM.

Reflex is fairly close to me and I have had them make several bars and attachments for me. When I was in their shop about a year ago, Bryce mentioned that they had recently lost about 80% of their Sorinex business, as Sorinex had upgraded their own facility and was trying to fabricate as much of it as they could themselves.

I liked what Reflex was offering and hope that this loss of business doesn't close their doors. It would suck to lose yet another quality American equipment manufacturer.
You don't need to have an account to see the photos. A lot of manufacturers have public ******** accounts since it's good advertising.[]---[] Ivanko Barbell Crew #32 []---[] ()---() York Barbell Club #43 ()---() ▉---▉ Equipment Crew #50 ▉---▉

i have a pretty nice laptop and a first gen iPad...i told myself i wouldn't buy a new one until this one dies (because i know how often Apple releases new versions). for a while, the power button wasn't working and i was about to use that as an excuse, but then it fixed itself
i don't use it so much now that it's so slow...Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House
