I know this question has been asked countless amount of times; but Im still on the fence.
Cardio while bulking? HIIT or Low Intensity? Fasted or nah?
I'm a woman, so I'm more curious from a woman's point of view. I just started a bulk this last week with a pull/legs/push/legs off off repeat and I'm eating my caloric needs. Just curious if I need to throw cardio in somewhere. I follow a ton of fitness women on Instagram and a good bit of them always reference just getting done with cardio (mostly fasted) just curious what women here do??? Thoughts???

I warm up with HIIT before every workout during offseason. Mainly because I don't like to start lifting before I'm sweating/warmed up. I don't really do heavy cardio though (during offseason). - I'll usually only do 10 to 15 min depending how I feel. Certain random days where I have more energy or I cheated on my diet I'll do a little bit more, only 20-25min.

i think you have to do what suits you.
I personally think everyone should do some cardio for health reasons, but you cant make people!
I lift 4xweek and run 3xweek (short run, long run and one speed/HIIT session), but have cut that down from 2x30-45 min sessions and one 60-75 min session to 3x30mins due to wanting to focus on lifting and knee problems flaring back up. I've never loved running but have done it for the challenge as I find it hard. this is also what stops me from cutting it out completely - I know how hard it is to work back up to it, so i'd rather keep a base level there.

I don't do any cardio offseason and barely do any when I'm dieting down. It's a personal choice. The problem with most women who attempt to build/bulk is they are paranoid a the thought of gaining any fat. You'll find most of them throw in cardio trying to make up for the extra calories.
If you're going to do cardio while building, make sure you're enough to support the work load. There's no need to do fasted cardio. It can be done at anytime of the day.National Level Competitor (Female BB)
