So,in the gym today,I saw a person doing bench press and his bar was inclined quite a bit to one side.He was bench pressing relatively light weight(40 kg);that's why I guess he didn't quite realise that.
So what really will happen if this occurs frequently?Any chance of injury as the weights increase and the bar still remains inclined?

It's usually indicative of an imbalance, either in shoulder joint mobility or muscular strength. For someone benching light weight, they should just be aware of it and it should improve over time if it is strength related, or they should address the mobility limitation if it is something in the lats/rotator cuff/rear delts/traps.

I see guys doing this as the gym with lower weights when warming up. I attribute it to using a light weight and being dominant with one hand (like nearly everyone is). It has a tendency to show more with lighter weights I think.
I wouldn't worry about it unless you are doing it while lifting your set weight. That does hint in imbalance or mobility problem that needs to be addressed.I like personal responsibility and accountability. When you admit you are the problem you are simultaneously admitting you are the solution.
