People with money dont need to brag. Money does not mean anything really. I used to live in a 10,000sf house and had 3 private helicopters, (along with lots of other 'stuff") but I ran 3 companies and worked non-stop. Now I chose to live much simpler with a lot less....and enjoy my life much greater with my family.

Glad to hear you are happy with your change in lifestyle. I think sometimes people measure themselves by their income, and compare themselves to others in the same way. Yep...sounds like you have it figured out pretty well. Took me a while. Grew up without a lot of money and felt like I had to achieve something to be happy. Self employed since I was 23 years old. By 27 I had built that house (paid for no mortgage). Had 3 businesses and at times as many as 70 people working for me. I then started playing with bigger 'toys'. The Hughes 500 was my favorite but it cost me a lot to keep and fly. It cost me close to $400/hr (my cost) just to fly it. Storing it and maintenance was another 20k/year. That was if nothing went wrong with it. I decided to put all new glass in the ship and that cost me 35k. I was working myself nuts but never felt like I had ever achieved anything. (even though I did not know many people my age doing the things that I was). Here was a fun example.....Running in those circles, I got to hang and meet a lot of cool people. Here was one time. Super cool guy. As nice as can be. Big dude too. (but I am only 5'9) His ship was cooler than mine though . He flew in a EC130 (about 2.5mil) VERY nice ship you can see in the background.



I am lucky to have a awesome wife who stuck with me despite my issues. She could have cared less about the houses, car, and helicopters. She would have been happier with MUCH less if I were around more. Needless to say, I had a wake-up call. I was almost killed in 09 in an accident. I broke my neck and had a frontal brain injury (amnesia...etc). It was after this time that I figured what was really important in life. It is also what brought me back in the gym. WK was kind enough to post of pic of what I looked like 10 years out of the gym. But I maintained a good deal of strength, benching 315 the first day back in the gym after not lifting for a decade.

Yea...I am not fat. I stay between 10 and 12% year round. The 75% fat was a joke because everyone on this site thinks they are 10% bf . I could care less what my BF% is. At the end of the day, I train for a balance of strength and feeling and looking good. 41 isnt bad at all. In fact it is pretty great! Just finding time to take care of all the commitments can be a challenge. (kids schedules can be nuts).
