    umbilical hernia

Does anyone here have experience competing while waiting for hernia repair? Been prepping, but. Not sure if it will hold up while posing or if I should just wait until next season to compete again. Have repair scheduled in November. Missed all season after having cervical spine fusion and total hip replacement.

I made it through my prep just fine with my hernia. Doctor had given me the go ahead, I just had to change up my lifting a little to less weight higher rep.

Yes made through prep ok with mine, it just really popped out during posing and actually got marked down by DH judges for it. Can see it in my gallery pics where I have a side by side to assess how bad mine was compared to yours. I would have to push it back in during training. I got it caught on a tree step the month after my show when bowhunting and said that's it I'm getting this thing fixed.
