I doubt we will ever see anything close to Ronnie. King of freaks. The GOAT.

What rendition of Ronnie are you using to make these statements? Dorian in his famous 1993 pre-contest photoshoot was in the 270s with crazy balance and conditioning. Ronnie in 99 was 257 lbs with comparable balance and conditioning. So he would be giving up a lot of size. Ronnie in 03 was bigger but at the expense of balance and conditioning. Peter McGough, who has seen it all and has more bodybuilding knowledge than any of us, even said this version of Dorian would give a prime Ronnie a run for his money

There's a video interview of Phil in a H2 Hummer. Where he talks about Ronnie. Saying the sport may never see another guy like that. Because they might just go to the NFL to make real money. As this is a comparing sport. Everyone agrees that Ronnie is the best the sport has ever seen.

Again your comparing a what if Dorian that never hit the stage. What he claims to weigh pre contest has no bearing on the physique he brought to stage. Dorian Was 255ish on stage, you can tell by pics he never had the size to mess with a prime Ronnie. His legs wouldn't have been close and dorians strongest part, his back , Ronnie can still keep up or beat him

I have to admit this is one of the crazier threads ive seen in years ! There are so many different arguments going on here. We have people actually trying to make a case for Phil>Ronnie, we have Levrone > Ronnie, I saw Gunther>Ronnie, Kai vs Ronnie. On top of all that we have a guest appearance from freaking Neo Seminole the absolute fiercest Dorian Yates arguer/defender EVER ( On multiple boards ! Hate him but respect him !)
We have 3 pages of there is or isn`t intelligent life outside of our solar system and we have WizofAus now using the judges scoring ( 2002 Olympia ) after what just happened with Phils perfect scores just last month.
The level of arguing has gone up a notch on these boards.
We are in times when/where someone will say something completely retarded and it will spawn a 20 page thread with diagrams & red lines supporting that retarded claim.
PURE INSANITY !!!

brah, I'm nothing compared to NarcissisticDeity. I'm pretty sure that guy has Dorian Yates bed sheets and matching pajamas. I'm actually more of a Ronnie fan than a Dorian fan. The reason I decided to post in here was b/c the level of Ronnie fanboyism was off the charts. It reminds me of the ironage forums and their jealous love for old school bodybuilders

LOL in the back of my head I knew there was one guy had really gone full retard with the Yates argument way back when, but on another board (im thinking Get Big ) I just don`t remember his name. Was this Narcisistic Deity guy from this forum ? I respect Neo Seminole because he never went full retard, he always remained within the realm of intelligence lol.

lol the truce thread
getbig.com the chit hole of all bbing forums, no contest. This forum and the worst arguments/threads would just be average in the golden age of that place.
The content Neo posted itt is 10x worse on getbig. Neo should understand only mandatory comparisons of poses between bbers matter. Not yates was the 1st place in crayon drawing in grade 3. Mandatory comparisons only matter. But no lets begin telling history lessons how yates was this and that...
...then admit Ronnie>yates anyway and make argument void

Regardless of who's better, it's ironic that two of the greatest have had gut problems AS THEY TRY TO GET BIGGER after already winning the Olympia. This has got to stop. We don't want Olympia champions with enlarged midsections. Let's go back to the Shawn Ray type of physiques, who stopped trying to get bigger at one point, and got better instead.

cool discussion here guys. Big Rob suggested i weigh in. While i appreciate all of the votes for me and i might have to agree i have to say that each era has its champion and you really cant compare them especially if they never stood on stage next to one another. the way i look at it is that Arnold was the best in his era, Haney in his era, Dorian in his then me and the Jay and now Phil.
always fun to talk about though
Yeah buddy!!8X Mr.Olympia
