    Please Help Interpreting MRI Report (L5S1 Herniated Disc)

    Hi guys,

    I herniated my L5S1 back in July... still have pain in the morning and some nerve sensation down my left outside calf muscle.... I just wondered if anyone fairly knowledgeable on this kind of stuff could put the report in layman terms for me.

    From what I see from the summary I have nerve canal narrowing, is this a degenerative thing or is it a result of the herniated disc bulge (in which case it should resolve when the disc bulge resolves, right?)
