depends on city you life. think it's $15. no biggie unless you mod the vehicle. just a pain to go get it done. more BS. rather just pay $15 more for vehicle reg and not fck with it. i suppose yeah they could fine you for not having it. goes on a sticker right by registration sticker so they can see it.

The reason the dr650 isnt the greatest out there is because its literally a 20 year old bike. No updates.
Reliable as all fuk, but for similar money, you can buy a used KTM 625 SMC with low miles that would stomp the fuk out of that DR at everything it does. If you end up with the cash for a 690, its another can of ass whooping worms.
The DR650 is for old people looking to buy something they know will run forever, even though there are other choices that perform better and last just as long.Everyone can talk chit on the internet until they encounter a 6'7 framed Dorian Yates barndoor boeing747 turtle back freak of nature who drives over 200+ on the autobahn

Grammar Help:
-they're/their/there: The sloots are not nearby. They're shaking their asses over there.
-you're/your: You are not a unique snowflake. You're not your f*cking kahkis.
-should've/should have/should of: Unless you are a ritard, you should have realized by now that "should've" is a contraction of "should" and "have."

Considering installing a pair of these on the bike. Figure it can't be all that hard to route it from the battery to the left side of the fairing to plug in. Would run the wires through my suit I think. A little more pricey but would be much warmer I think
Also I started laughing when the guy was talking about feeling it in his hands just sounded so awkward***Knee Draggers Unite***

what? thought rice grinders were supposed to be dependable? do you have a canbus on that thing or is it just old school wiring? seems like something a guy could repair himself..
oh yeah, you said it's under warranty anyway, so looks like stealership gets to fix it for you. have to start looking for something more solid like a chopperLast edited by texasaxe; 10-22-2014 at 06:58 AM.

Rode to work this morning. 45F out, feels like 40F according to the weather channel. I'm dreading having to store my bike*MFC*
