I didnt enjoy that video.. I wanted him to talk about prague and at least and what happened(without talking about supplements). He might be unique in the way he explains things but this kind of method gets me lost and i dont find it inspirational at all.
Nowadays, I see more and more people calling every kind of speech "inspirational", "moving", "it will make you believe in humanity again". lol just no
Then again, if canuck or someone else get inspired by it, thats great.Grainy hardcore religious slabs of thick dense muscle. So grainy that it hurts your eyes

So, he still did not address what his "sickness" was.
I've been on a lot of forums and seen a lot of videos from Prague and they all say Kai was eating before/after prejudging and even before/after the finals (which he didn't show up to). I even saw a few people say they saw him laughing in the pump room before the prejudging and pumping up as usual. Another report from a fitness competitor said she was going to grab a coffee and go to gym with Kai to get a workout in the day after the finals. Kai showed up to do the seminars and even showed up to the hockey game to drop the puck lol. The only thing Kai didn't show up to was the finals. I don't want to say for sure he wasn't "sick" because it's not my place, but from all of the information on this situation, it seems like he wasn't "sick". Seems too strange.Legends Of Bodybuilding!!! 1000's OF PICS OF YOUR FAVOURITE BODYBUILDERS!!!

God I wish he would just answer questions.
So Kai what was your main source of carbs coming into this show?
"Well I mean, what is a carb? I mean people might see a rice grain but there's a much greater understanding to what this symbolises. Consider the bird for a minute, the way they spend there whole life revolving around food and recovery. I like to think of myself as a bird constantly thriving for the meaning of why I'm here to do what I believe my fans and I both believe is best for the sanctity of my own thoughts. You have to grab that and harness that emotion then apply it to your own specific life experiences. Take the things that you may have found irrelevant and turn them into a positive thing that you can mould into the shape you believe it should be".

There's various possibilities.
Not being able to get through his usual "protocol" and not being able to go through poses on stage, doesn't necessarily render someone unable to "laugh", speak, walk or eat.
It might even have to do with something physically visible on his body, there's not enough information to assume that it wasn't legitimate.

"Sickness?" How many athletes talk about what goes behind closed doors? Phil's "food poisoning" in 2009 is a good example of it.
I think Kai and Farah took some desperate measures because he was really in poor shape and went wrong with it, causing health problems. We all have seen pros getting in great shape from one day to another and it's not just the meals between. This approach can bring good results, when the method works and striations/details appear from nowhere, bad ones, like Dillett at the '94 AC or even dramatic ones - see Munzer or many guys who needed/need liver or other organ transplants.

Honestly, I hope I am wrong, because I am a big Kai fan, but I feel like after losing again to Phil, the wheels might start coming off bus. He always struck me as someone who put 100% into bodybuilding, while being on that thin edge of just "losing it" all the time and knowing he was better and didn't win might be too much for him.

I think there are two possibilities as to why Kai dropped out (speculation obv).
1.What you said above. Kai jumped in the show last minute, wasn't in good enough shape, overdid the direutics or something to compensate, and got sick.
2.Kai jumped in the show last minute, wasn't in good enough shape, and dropped to avoid an embarrassing loss (4th place, based off prejudging0.Frustrated at bodybuilding? Read my rant:
