Getting pretty excited as the release date draws closer, DA:O is easily one of the best games I have played even if DA2 managed to be terrible. DA:I looks like a good return to what made Origins great, while bringing in a lot of new abilities and content that will really flesh out both game play and RPG elements.
Likely going to play through as a 2 handed warrior first, my usually go-to for any fantasy RPG; follow that up with a mage for round 2; goodnight sweet social life.
Got my pre-order in already- my body is not ready, but want this, most anticipated game of 2014 for me.
Great video worth watching to show off a lot of new features- Release date is set to Nov. 18, 2014 (My birthday is on the 20th, know just how I will be spending it)
So what is everyone's thoughts so far? Lookin' like GOTY material or another BioWare flop? They always seem to get progressively worse with each game in a series, first always incredible, the quality slides downhill fast. Hope this wont be another Mass Effect 3 type of disappointment.

Currently re-playing Origins. It's nearly perfect.
Hated everything about DA2.
I have little hope for Inquisition. Because of DA2's existence and the recent exodus at Bioware. Most importantly, it doesn't look like it can be played from the top-down (how I play Origins 99% of the time) and the combat looks incredibly casual.

I am so in!!
I forgot the storyline, will have to watch YouTube videos or something to refresh my memory.
Just like every RPG game I always start off with a ninja/rogue/assassin like character so will most likely start with that. If the game is really fun and I play my 2nd playthrough then I will make a mage. I will most likely make an evil/badass character.***Black Knight Master Race Crew***

DA1 was great.
DA2 was decent other than the massively redundant/reused environments.
DA3 looks like it will be great.
Also for the unaware, you guys should keep an eye out for Dragon Age:Keep later this month. Great for those who played previous games and want to bring their decisions into Inquisition.
Also ME3 was amazing minus the inexcusably terrible endings.

While I didn't like ME3's ending my main problem was the whole game felt like a linear hallway of non-stop shooting; the RPG elements were also stripped to the minimum. Not only that but add in a lack-luster dialogue system that felt far removed from the depth ME1 offered and it was just a bland experience as a whole.
ME1 was awesome due to the ability to land on so many planets too, pointless for the most part but the extra content and bits of story it added was incredible and made the universe feel so much more alive and deep.
That was what kind of what sucked in DA2 was the linearity and dialogue (especially with party members) was so limited that it felt that nothing you said had any impact. With DA:I it looks like they re-opened the world and improved pretty much everything I didn't like about DA2.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

that dlc was pure fan service and i can't really recommend it for a serious play through as it kinda ruins it, it should've been something you unlocked after finishing the game and started through the menu IMHO
it was fun and nice to have doe
the leviathan DLC on the other hand was pretty much better and more important than most of the full game...
biowares dlc policy started to piss me off in mass effect 2 but they really went overboard on the third
