Do you guys pick up every single herb? I haven't felt like crafting is that great so far? Trying to chat up that liianan chick would smash.

finally got my specialization for my Rogue character. Holy **** is it fun to play as a duel wielding tempest. Was debating between assassin and tempest, but I didn't really have much fun trying Cole out. Now I just fly around the battlefield killing enemies before being hit once.

The mages are pretty fun. I always find bows to be boring in this game, plus two of the best characters (IMO) are bow characters (sera and varric) and I always bring one or the other just to hear their random convos

also i really hope there are tougher enemies then just dragons because dragons are becoming very easy and i think i only have 2 left, because each time i kill a dragon its gives me bar saying like 8/10 dragons killed
will be upset if there are only 10dragons since dragon battle usually take 10min and are fun as fuk

what difficulty you playing?? would assume max level is whatever it takes to max all trees out?? so like ~11 perks per tree + ~7 for specilist.... so ~40 + focus = ~45?

playing on hard right now, lvl 1-18 was difficult as fuk but when i got my reaver tree and switched to 2 barrier mages with fire mines and using iron bull as a tank with shield and sword and his reaver tree i literally destroy everything

i like to explore each and every corner and pick up everything lol
highest level area ive been so far was emprea de lion thats like lvl 20, with the 3 dragons
i am hoping there are many more areas to discover and story wise each time i come to a point i think its the end and everyone makes it seem like that it isnt which i fuking love.

ok so just found that theres no hard cap for single player so im gunna assume after a certain quest that the enemies will become more difficult

I found my first dragon in Crestwall @ lv 11 with my mage, Sera, Bull, and Blackwall. Got absolutely demolished on hard lol. Any tips?

let sera use longshot non stop while the mage only provide barriers and no aoe magic
bull and blackwall just keep to tanking on both front legs, and dont get behind the dragon

im a 2h warrior reaver and my team is goat (hyruliangoat) srs. me, cassandra, solas for ice and his spec, vivienne for fire and her spec. literally hurl out just huge waves of damage with blizzard, fire glyph thing, all the big 2h attacks and cassandra making everyone strong as hell

Just unlocked assassin spec for my guy, man mark of death is pretty powerful. I found out i can use it with that focus ability that does tons of damage and once it detonates it does like 10k damage lol. Have not been able to beat a dragon yet on hard, but i might be able to with that combo.

Also if you don't have it yet you should def get the lockpick perk, the best 2hander i have found in the game was behind one of those doors as well as some other good upgrades.

i literally get purple and blue drops for weapons constantly but never for armor. like my guy has had a 160 plus 2h since he was like level 10 and hes about to be 13. and i have one thats like 180 that I cant use. just luck I guess

just unlocked Necromancer specialization, its pretty easy to do. lmao I couldnt for the life of me find the "Inquisitor specialization operation" in the war room

is the tempest based on mixtures from herbs? can u tell me which ones to stock up on?

miring how high level some of u guys are. i think i just cracked level 11 w/ almost 40 hours lul. looking for that grey warden in crestwoods. saw that dragon, and gonna go assault the keep. o and fuk the hinterlands.

or are the flasks just abilities? read the wiki.

iron bull so stronk. always bring him along to battle. he might be too big to sleep in the tent but hes so good so its not a big problem. itll be a tight fit tho.

I don't usually care for the "romance" story lines anyway, but what the actual fuk? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only options are the scarred, butch warrior with the lezzie haircut, or the schizo elf with the hideous face. Assuming you're not on that homo time of course. Really missing the HBB's Morrigan and Leliana right about now.

agreed. the only girls that are main chars that i would romance in this game is leilana and sera. ****in male inquisitions cant even romance sera such bull****. i'd fuk her soooo hard.

that said 10/10 game ****ing amazing game so far played like 30 hours straight last night, and i didnt even touch the main quests

I picked Tempest Rogue. Currently level 12. The game is a lot easier now that I have that big charge-up AOE ability. I was struggling to get through some rifts without it. However, I tried the lvl 11 dragon and only was able to get him to like 70%. Hard to beat him with 3 melee characters.


If I ever find a good bow I'll probably respec to archery, haven't found one yet.

First post, amazing game.

Definitely have to figure out what side quests are worthwhile though. Some of the side quests feel really unrewarding for the amount of work you have to put into them, do all of this for a tiny amount of influence or something. I'm realizing this is a long ass game and need to go for rewarding quests/main story simply because it would be too much of a time investment otherwise. Recover 48 books you fukin wot m8? Also really annoying how you can lose some inquisition agents by not saying the right thing(ex. Ritts in Strange Bedfellows.)

Level 12 Mage. Not sure what to specialize in yet.
