6:45 pm. Surprisingly, the family has not stormed the building and broken the door down. No sign of entry, no sign of landlord, no sign of tenant, no smells. I make iced tea, and I wait. The landlord, who will undoubtedly make entry in a fitted suit because he's that guy, is due in 15 minutes.
Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

Several coworkers from his restaurant have been asking if anyone has seen him on ********. Also family members posting on his wall to call his mom right away.
Only thing in his mailbox is a utility bill. Hoping against odds that it's not going to be one of these things:
Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

Personally, I think the family really should. I would do it for them if they told me they wanted it down and would take responsibility. *I'm* not going to do it, because #1) I don't know the guy enough to be able to legit say I believed it was an emergency (and am not interested in committing criminal trespass), and #2) I just moved back in here and am not going to break the landlord's door down if this guy's family doesn't want to do it. If we're all a bunch of idiots and he's just, like, camping and decided to quit his job without notice or something and then forgot to look at his phone, it would be crappy to have his apartment broken open.
Still waiting to hear the front door.Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

Subbed for potential dead neighbour.
"What do you say, for instance, about a generation that has been taught that rain is poison and sex is death? If making love might be fatal and if a cool spring breeze on any summer afternoon can turn a crystal blue lake into a puddle of black poison right in front of your eyes, there is not much left except TV and relentless masturbation. It's a strange world. Some people get rich and others eat sh*t and die."

#1) The guy probably doesn't make enough money to be on vacation after a move.
#2) The girl he was with all week does not know where he is, either, and is posting her concern on ******** as well
There is kind of a funny smell accumulating by the door, like old barbecue, but we are above a restaurant so it's hard to say what that might be from.
I've got to say, if the landlord doesn't come to remove a possible dead body from the building tonight, I am going to be very disappointed in the brah.Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.
