Hi guys I was wondering could you give me some advice? Im unsure whether to cut or bulk. Im currently 180lbs and 16%-17% BF but im not the most muscular person so im afraid of cutting incase i become too scrawny. what do you think?

Looks like you are hung in the middle as i am trying to work out of. Proper nutrition you can do a bit of both at the same time. I would say put some more mass on before you start cutting. Don;t know your goals but from what i am seeing, i wouldn't be happy with that if i started cutting. My chest size hasn't changed much since i been working out the last 7 months but it went from flab to hard now. Very little fat left on my chest. but i am in the gym 6 days a week busting my a**

Everyone's body acts different i can only speak for myself. I started getting serious working out February of this year. Nutrition wise i am not doing anything special what so ever. I take my supplements for the most part eat what i want but i have lost 26 lbs since February, put an inch of mass on my arms, tightened up my chest, lost ALOT of belly fat. Like i said i have done nothing special but i am seeing results. The only thing that has stayed consistent is the time i have put in the gym

during the first year in many cases u can loose fat as well as gain muscle. but u need muscles. I would build some decent muscle mass before I even think about a cut in your scenario. you got to lift heavy. eat clean protein rich food meeting all macro and micro nutrient needs and do hiit cardio along with heavy lifting. Within 6-12 months u can really transform if u stay consistent with the training as well as the diet.

in my humble opinion you should cut down 15-20 lbs followed by a long slow bulk. if you bulk now you will put on considerable fat and will have to cut forever to be able to see any muscle. i guess it all depends, are you going for size or do you want to look good without a shirt on? if you're just going for size and strength bulk, if you're going for overall health and aesthetics cut.
