no expert in the field ever claimed humans evolved from apes. Pretty sure you are trolling. Tempted to neg.
I only read thread titles and my own posts.

Apes did not evolve into humans.. put it this way.. there is a tree that has branches sticking out of it.. the tree is the 100% ape and the 3 branches are apes but different DNA.. 2 of the branches turn out to be different types of apes but the other 3rd branch evolves into something more.. which is us

im assuming your question is if we came from monkeys why do monkeys still exist.
At some point over the course of millions (or more) of years monkeys were banging and banging and eventually a genetic mutation occured, which changed some of their DNA. This continued and continued to happen and we became humans. Monkeys that didnt experience this genetic mutation are todays monkeys. Those that did are todays humans.
Also monkeys chromosomes 2 and 3 fused into human chromosome 2.

If you're being serious and are genuinely curious, this will answer your question better than any miscer can: http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/How_com...ill_monkeys%3F
It's a common misconception that one species evolves *into* another. Rather, we share a common ancestral species.
