Mate you were mediocre for half a decade before last season. At the moment it really looks like having an OP player in Suarez last season was the reason you had a good year. He's out now and you're left with mediocrity. Not to mention, it's much different now than it was 15 years ago. Money is playing a huge role in the game(and you cant compete with the majority of top teams), there's more teams in the mix and Liverpool arent really a dream destination for any top player anymore.
