I have developed plantar faciitis in my left foot. I have never had it before and it is excruciatingly painful. I am on prescription meds now that have helped alleviate most of the pain and am waiting to see a physiotherapist. I am doing foot stretches and will modify my exercises at the gym so I am mostly seated while lifting.
Any one else suffer with pf? Advice? How did you modify? What kind of cardio did you do, if any?
I was doing so well, feeling strong and seeing progress and now I'm worried about losing all that I have worked so hard for. TIA!!

Achilles stretching every hour and cold rolling your feet helps...
take a standard water bottle (500-750ml) fill with water then freeze overnight... Roll your arch over that the next morning and a couple of times during the day...
good luck. surgery is not usually very successful... could look into collagenase injections if it gets really bad and/or unresponsive to stretching etcPlastic/Reconstructive =/= Cosmetic Surgery....

Here for a laugh and to escape the grind, don't take too much of what I say too seriously.
