Having great luck massing all barbarian raids. Have had two bases so far that had 500k+ loot outside the base in collectors. Been able to take smaller bases with 50-100k loot w/all barb raids too. Brought gold storage form 13k to 1.2m so far. The time it takes to amass 175 barbs as opposed to various spells and other troops isn't even comparable in speed, especially if you go over capacity and have troops ready after a raid.

Maybe in potato league it works but if someone has 1 minion/dragon/loon/valkryie in cc your raid is over

The grind is real in this game and I'm only TH7 (but 3 builders). I'm hoping to upgrade to TH8 by Feb sometime.

At least two of us were reported during clan prep. Bans came through a couple hours after war started.m cant use the attacks. Reddit playin dirty

The main difference is you lose the ability to hit juicy th7's once you're a th9.

The loot penalty is real.

I did well by going to 9. I hit a wall at 8 and just couldn't maintain the pace for loot. Maxed nearly everything at 8 except walls then made the jump. No ragrats.


20 extra unit space + level 6 troops and a fourth spell along with one bad biatch = a big difference in raiding ability. Not to mention you become so much more of a force in clan wars.


I'm #4 in my clan and usually fight #2 & #3. (My TH10 guys rushed and don't have a very in depth knowledge of tactics lol).


Either way the ability to clean up bases (not just collectors) using only heros + barch/wallbreakers is great. I rarely use a spell for raiding and when I do its lightning for the CC troops.


Any time I see pink walls + wizard towers aren't solid purple I know I can break into center and get collectors easily with just a basic troop comp.

Well, seeing that I've just passed 1 year on this game and you unlock the Queen at TH9. I'd say it went damn fast, lol. But yes, a strong amount of grinding was done. The game has gotten much easier the higher the Hero's got. I farm with them and I don't use spells and still do very very well.

I maxed Pekka's today also and I've never made/used one still to this day. Soon though.

What's your gold grab? Mirin lava's. Also, how do you attack in war if your not using Pekkas? Thought th10 was all about that gowipe life

All should be full soon. Then only have defenses and clan castle left but I can work on these while TH upgrades for 3 days hnngh

might want to consider changing up your upgrade order. Lab,camps, defenses are usually top priority. As long as you're having fun but later on maxed out defenses>maxed out anything else

Ya srs. Why would you leave camps to the end? Bigger armies mean you can attack better, richer bases.

did this for th6, can confirm it worked great. faster to create and less elixir.


but th7 and +, half barb half archers is the way to go. barch is goat.

Already at about 1k trophies and didn't need to get higher. Resources are pretty full, never have problem upgrading except gold I had to farm for walls.

then i simply cook up a new army in 15 minutes. the point is to grind out as many raids as possible. you'd be surprised how many potatoes leave 500k+ loot out in unprotected collectors.

Just found this thread again. I'm a TH8, what do you other TH8's use for war attacks? Drags are easy, and GoWiPe but do you guys use anything else at TH8?

My clan just got it's 66th win yesterday, 10th in a row. Not as impressive as misc clans, but decent since it was only started in June.

Drags with L6 loons in cc works for nearly every th8.. you dont need much thinking to hit th8 bases
th9 is where you really start to expand your army options
Gowiwi, Gowipe, Holowiwi, Pekloon, Lavaloon, etc

Most bases can be dragged/loon with either rage/heal or 3x lightning

Thanks guys, I have the drag/loon and 3x light or 2 Rage/1 Heal down. It works great, but I would like to try something else.

I can 2star a lot of th9's with Gowipe and 3 star basically any th8 with full drag but drags are extremely boring for me now
