Been A While
Hey guys. I pray that everyone is doing fine. It has been a while since I last checked in and posted anything. I have been very busy. I got a huge promotion at work and have been very busy. But I have not been to busy to pray though. My cousin who is going to graduate high school this May is has started lifting at school and he has been bitten by the iron bug. He is looking for a workout partner. I am also needing a workout partner so I think that I will see if he wants to hook up with me and go with me everyday.
He is a great kid, he has just made a few mistakes in his thinking over the past few years. He has been starting to come around though. I think that if I can get him going to the gym with me all the time that he will be ok.
He has great potential. I think that he can be great. Not just at bodybuilding but in life. Plus I think that we can help each other. He is going through a rough time right now. He just found out that his other grandfather has lung cancer and has got it real bad. His grandfather was just diagnosed Thursday. I think this has opened the boy's eyes to life and how ***ile life is, and how important it is to keep yourself as healthy that you can. I also think that bodybuilding is the outlet that he needs right now.
His faith in the Lord is strong. So I don't have to worry about him in that aspect. Yall just pray for him and his family. They will need all the help that they can get as they go through this time. Stay strong guys. Later.I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH

Hey Guys. Just started reading through the thread. Haven't finished yet.
I'm still working through the parentin route. Trying not to "exasperate" your children. I have teanage girls and I constantly focus on that verse trying to build our family. It's our job to transform ourselves into what He calls us to be.
I've also learned how to pray while exercising. Even if it's just Lord Help me to complete this.
Take Care

Good job. Short little prayers throughout the day definitely build up a stronger Christian.
For my high school bible study group, I'm teaching the kids the Gospel of John. The kids are really getting a kick out of the facts from the Bible. Times, places, artifacts, people... It's all very fascinating for the high schoolers. But I'm the one learning the most, I must say.
If you can, taking on the responsibility of taking care of a group of kids is quite rewarding, both to God's glory and building ourselves up for God. I don't know what it's like to have teenage girls under my belt, but I'm sure it's very rewarding and God-pleasing! Keep it up![Fat Loss|Nutrition|www.MRTIMOTHYLEE.com|Training|ContestPrep]

From what I can remember, it is very different from having 4 boys in the house when I grew up. I was able to do a lot with them when they were younger. Now it's all cell phones and IMing whenever there is a free moment and not much else is appreciated. Unfortunately in Taiwan, I can't get an English speaking Christian School for them, so they are influenced a lot by the International School Culture. I am trying to promote them to invite the church group over to the house regularly to have some fun. God will provide.

I'm out here for work for a few years. It's interesting because you get a whole different perspective on Christianity here. The first hing we were hit with is the reality for Christians out here of dealing with the issue of food offered to idols. Never really saw that in the US. Also see a lot of similarities that God has placed within other religious backgrounds. Gives you a foundation for opening discussion.

WHAT an A-B-S-O-L-U-T-E-L-Y awesome start to the week. I spent the lats two days with the Conquerors and let me just say one word: Awesome, Awesome Awesome. These guys are not only men for God but Warriors and Soldiers. I was blessed enough to meet almost all of them. Jack Schumacher, Greg Molchan, Mike Benson, Scott Hunzer(sp?), Mark Ambrose and Eric(never found out his last name). These guys are all sucj incredible people and I look forward to being able to contribute to such an awesome group. What was amazing to me it that when they have a team member down or in need, the first thing they did is pull together. Something I ma not used to seeing. Being a part of this has been on my heart ever since hearing about it and now that I've met more of them, it's a burning in my heart. NOt as much as the burning for God , but it's movin. I strongly urge you guys to check out the website soon. I may be takingover the site for them, not sure yet. If so , look for some awesome changes that they have been wanting for awhile. I will post pics when i get home tonight. Be Blessed everyone!!!

Isnt Ronnie Coleman a christian too??
God has helped a lot with my lifting and what not, when i pray before i go into the gym or before i do a lift, i do soo much better...I was squattin 295 for my max, and i fell, it went back and i fell...i got up again, recovered took a minute to pray and get water and went under and busted 315.
Im also able to get in the gym more because of my grades goin up and that too is by the grace of God. Its great to see Christian bodybuilders in here.

Will do, Baseball man. Praying for a moment right now.
Hey, all. I'm in the home stretch of work--trying to get these jr. high students of mine ready for final exam. The stress is getting distressful. WAY too much to do.
Haven't been to the gym for anything serious in a couple of weeks. Still at physio for my patella tendonitis from a squash injury.
How's it going, all?

Anybody read The Ragamuffin Gospel by Brendan Manning?
