Picked up Talenti's peppermint bark based on your review Eric, and I agree thats its more true to it's name than HD. I liked Talenti's better too, since the white chocolate base is a tad too sweet for me.
Really enjoying the video reviews. You're the only ice cream blog/reviewer worth following these days.

I'm not challenging your opinion of it - or anyone's for that matter; I'm sure it's amazing! I've had their Nutter Batter, S'mores, and Dark Chocolate Chill which I thought were all excellent, so I'm sure Banana Peel-N is no different.
I just think it's funny that you've posted the picture on so many different occasionsandrewschutt.com - Physical and Mental Fitness

Perry's Ice Cream Pumpkin Pie
http://theicecreaminformant.freeforu...am-pumpkin-pie
Overall for a mid-range pumpkin ice cream this will fix your sweet tooth, especially if you can get Perry's in your area. Do I consider this a premium top 3 purchase for a pumpkin ice cream? No, but I would definitely rescoop this if you are a pumpkin lover such as myself. My only gripe to this was more pie crust pieces and a stronger taste to them. The base really overtakes the flavoring of the pie crust pieces which is why I knock off a few points. The Whipped Cream ice cream swirl did a fantastic job of pairing with a dense pumpkin puree flavored base. Give the pie pieces a bit more flavor (Cinnamon or Sugar), and include more of them (got maybe 10-12 total pieces in the whole quart) and this would be an A grade flavor.
Grade: B
Agree 100%, I would put Almond Butter Chocolate Chunk, Espresso Chip (don't know if you got), Mascarpone Pistachio, S'more, PB above MapleLast edited by The Solution; 11-29-2015 at 01:33 PM.

I'm a huge dark chocolate fan so I loved it. Non-dark chocolate lovers will likely find it overpowering if I had to guess.
That flavor looks bomb though, I didn't even know it existed! It looks like the same thing as half baked, correct?
It looks like you got screwed on the perrys pumpkin pie, mine was full of pie crust pieces! Turkey Hill is still a better option I'd say though.andrewschutt.com - Physical and Mental Fitness

Love dark chocolate, a reason why i like Roasted & Toasted from B&J's and Chocolate City from New Orleans Ice Cream Co.
Pretty much a spin off correct of Half Baked. The base of wegmans premium ice cream is a step above Ben & Jerry's Half Baked IMO. My pint was not like the other premium pints i had (S'mores, Banana, Nutter batter) and packed with mix-ins. but the quality of the ice cream is worth the scoop.
Can't win them all on pints/quarts. I was the minority on Steve's Whoppie Pie since mine was a massive whoopie pie, and a lot on here got a fleck of a whoopie pie. Win some lose some.Last edited by The Solution; 11-29-2015 at 06:53 PM.

Right. And if you're "not impressed" by Balasmic Fig at least, then you probably don't like good ice cream. I think Bananas Foster and Chocolate Molten Cake are slightly above average as well. Salted Caramel and Dirty Mint Chip are a little plain but when you get them in between some cookies...

I think that's the important thing to remember when you're eating a pint from Coolhaus. While they have some good flavors, that's not really their forte. They make some of the best ice cream sandwiches in the game. The Snickerdodole Cookie + Pancakes & Syrup Ice Cream sandwich I had in Cali was the best novelty I've ever had.

I haven't even tried Half Baked before lol too mainstream for me I guess, I always go for something funkier instead. I'll be sure to pick up the Wegmans version next time I'm home.
This is true though, no two pints are ever the same.
Speaking of Perry's though, did you ever get around to that PB S'mores?andrewschutt.com - Physical and Mental Fitness
