It's not like I threw it away, but if you are going to TJ's there are so many nut type products that are better. That's why it doesn't make sense to pick it up in my opinion.
Just in the section where they have bags of nut varieties: Coconut Cashews, Sesame Honey Cashews, Chili & Lime Mixed Nuts, Cinnamon Roasted Almonds, Pumpkin Spiced Pumpkin Seeds, etc.
All the above are superior (have bought all of them).

Talenti Salted Peanut Caramel
I haven’t scooped Talenti in a while, and all of the previous new flavors for this year have been let downs to say the least. However, I was pretty excited for this one after reading pretty good reviews on it. The base is the same fairly light, quick to melt base as usual. The base is much sweeter than I would have liked, and hardly contains any saltiness to it at all. I more or less taste a plain creamy base with hardly any hints of salt and peanuts.
The salted caramel swirl was at the top of my pint only, with literally none the rest of the pint (what you see in the first picture is all I got). Compared to the base, it is saltier, but still very sweet due to the incorporation of molasses. Overall, it is a very rich caramel syrup.
What saved this pint from disaster were the dry-roasted peanuts. Most of them are halves, but I came across a few that were actually whole. Although much softer and soggier than expected, the peanuts still offered a subtle crunch. You could taste the dry-roasted flavor, and more importantly, were left with a great salty aftertaste. This finally gave me the sweet and salty combination I wanted so badly. Despite the good reviews, this pint just didn’t get it done for me. Although it is probably one of the better, new flavors Talenti released year, it certainly doesn’t warrant a rescoop in my opinion. C+

Agree! I thought the base was really unique the first couple of spoonfuls, but then the novelty wears and what you're left with is a slightly bland sweet flavor.
I enjoyed the first time I had it, but my rescoop wasnt that great.
Have you had hazelnut choc chip? You said all the new offerings you tried this year were letdowns. In my opinion HCC is an easy A if you like hazelnuts.Last edited by nakkiz; 10-07-2015 at 08:21 AM.

You hit the nail on the head.. For some reason, it did nothing for me! I have not actually scooped HCC.. I will have to pick that up soon! I would take CCCD & Oatmeal Raisin Cookie over this any day of the week!
Had these last year.. Can confirm that are a solid pick-up!!
Couldn't agree more! I just got these this year and HATED them.. Way too salty & the chocolate/pumpkin combination just doesn't do it for me!I.C.E.D.

Just had my pint of Steves Whoopie Pie.
Disappointing to say the least. Only got specks of Whoopie pie, no chunks or anything.
Not what I was hoping for...iForce Blueberry Muffin: forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=169778043

Yeah, I was really mad. I went in with the intent to have a few heaping spoonfuls, and then when I didn't get anything but specks of Whoopie pie I just kept digging and ended up destroying the whole pint in about five minutes. Don't get me wrong, the sweet cream vanilla base was incredibly smooth, but I was madder than hell I didn't get a good sized chunk of Whoopie pie in there.
I'll probably just stick with Graeters when I want mix ins, though apparently Coldstone packs a pint for you. Gonna have to try that soon.iForce Blueberry Muffin: forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=169778043

After the Pistachio flavor being pretty solid I thought I would try another from Rosa Brother. The Nut 'N' Honey sounded good; it is a vanilla/honey base, honey globs, and peanut pieces. Solid and sweet base/honey globs that taste of real honey instead of the cheap imitation stuff, and a lot of peanut pieces (sadly no whole nuts). I liked it, but it is very sweet with little to balance that out, so some may burn out on that before finishing the pint. Great for that honey fix though, easy B+ and may scoop again if in the mood for some more honey.
