I usually do HIIT training but over the last month I have been moving away from that and focusing on lifting for power. My issue is my wife says I have been becoming much mkre aggressive and being a dick. Is it from the lifting? Is this normal and if so why?

Maybe it's because your shirts are too tight and you can't find any that fit.
2 + 2 = 5 (for extremely large values of 2)
Try SCE to AUX

Lifting has an interesting effect on some newbies. After a couple of months, they get a little bit more muscle and get a little bit stronger -- Suddenly, this makes them think they are badasses which gives them permission to act like dicks to other people. So, no lifting doesn't make you aggressive. It just gives you the false illusion of being a tough guy.

if you are aware it is becoming an issue, my suggestion would be to seek some help for the issue
I like to lift relatively heavy chit up on a regular basis, but not if it affected my personality to the degree it caused family/ relationship issues☻/

This same thing happened to me. When I started lifting weights, my husband said I became aggressive.
Also, my voice started to get lower and I started to grow more body hair.
