    Trouble increasing bicep weight?

I have been stuck doing biceps with a 15kg bar for about the past year...I tried dropping to 12.5 for technique and am back up to 15 again but I just can't seem to move the weight up! Any tips/advice would be much appreciated.

Curious. How many sets/reps do you do? Do you do any other exercises for biceps as well?

You're talking barbell curls? I second the question of whether you do any other bicep exercises?

I used to just do concentration curls with a dumbbell and got stuck at 7.5kg, could not go up! So I started doing barbell curls as well as concentration curls. Eventually I was able to up the weight of the concentration curls to 10kg, while simultaneously slowly working up to now barbell curling 25kg. Doing both seemed to give me the push I needed

Small muscles combined with isolation exercises are much harder and take much longer to increase weight. Just keep at it, it won't happen over night

Can you do any reps at a slightly higher weight? Even if it is only a couple of good reps, I'd try that for at least one or two sets of barbell curls.

I can't do any on my own yet. Am working on it though.

Artemis - I could probably manage 17.5 but only a couple of reps. Will give that a go
