Hopefully you can see the 2.5lb plate...camera cut off before I could spin it around. I did another one that shows the weights better if this one doesn't count (not as happy with form though).

i know that lost strength feel that was my first time squatting over 200kg in 3 months and 3rd time squatting in 6 weeks due to football season. First time i every used a belt i bruised my ribs.... i was much lighter at the time

Lol sounds like you've had it worse. Played football in high school and there's no way I'd be getting stronger in season. I actually went to the gym saying I gotta get 555 and beat juggernautgeoff, but 525 was difficult, no way I could've beat you. And yes, I got bruises, too.

i got used to the heavy belt once it broke in but once i started oly lifting i stopped using it. now i use a ****ty 13$ belt off amazon, doesnt offer much more than emotional support.

moral of the story; break your belt in. roll it up tight both ways and step on it.

Used usual colour coded plates; 2 x blue (20kg), 2 x red (25kg), 1 x green (10kg) and a little 1.25kg plate on each side.

Ate a ton of carbs yesterday plus lots of fluids. Stepped on scale with clothes, and still only got up to 178. No 198 class today.

Midnight marks the beginning of a new day.. 11:59 pm was the last minute of dec. 13th and 12:00 am or midnight marks the beginning of dec. 14th... i don't understand how it could be interpreted any other way.

As it stands I'm in 3rd, perhaps pending 4th if Mr "physique competitor, not even mad" has his high squat pass. Chitty. I always had to hit a heavy single after I hit my heavy triple or double my programming called for lol. But a 465 squat in 220 has no business placing anyway lol. Hopefully mid 5s if this competition rolls around again. Cheers guys!

lol well I tried 550 but failed again the other night. Kind of frustrated I lost some strength, but of course I couldn't just not put up anything. Got a vid coming in a bit of a back down set of 480x5. Not my greatest squat ever, but not bad for the fact I was demotivated, failed a max, and still had a rep in the tank. Obviously just will have to count one of those reps as my lift and place with 480. Was hoping that would still get me enough for the win but it seems someone did 490 in my class. Should have done 500 or something but oh well
