Fact: if beer didn't have alcohol (plus most alcoholic beverages), then people wouldn't drink it at all.
The truth of the matter is that some beer is tolerable, but not delicious. It's cringe-worthy when people talk about beer as if they're drinking a milk shake

To me, all beer tastes the same. Dos Equis, Shiner, Coors Light...it's all the same. I didn't start drinking until late in life so maybe that's why.
Porters on the other hand HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG. SO much taste. OP missing out if he hasn't branched outside of the poverty 6pack beer. I don't drink but I won't turn down a dark porter/Guinness/etc if I don't mind the bloat.5/3/1

We have different taste buds so I can't say I agree but it does get annoying when your friends force you to drink or associate your physique with alcohol as if you're lying about not liking beer just to avoid a "beer belly". ( which is complete bullchit )

^If you just want to get drunk, that is about 1000x cheaper than buying beer that tastes good. You are welcome tasteless *******s
I pity anyone who sits around drinking beer that they hate the taste of just for the minimal amount of alcohol and so their friends can see them. And then think that everyone else is similarly just "tolerating" it. Fuking retards, srs. Trailer park shyt

Because taste is an objective thing, right OP?
I used to hate vegetables. Now I love 'em.
Furthermore, I haven't had an alcoholic beverage for 4 months... but I've replaced it with non-alcoholic ginger beer. Which many people would also say the exact same thing about. Yet it's my preference.
People drink alcohol for the experience, sure, but acquired taste is a very real thing and if you can't understand that then I can only assume that you are young, and lacking of any substantial worldly experience and are thus just another naive ******* of peace whose opinion is rising from his self-imposed, closed-minded ideals about the way life should be lived and experienced.
