    Waxing

I'm looking to get into competetion, and obviously, I want to be smooth all over. But whenever I wax, I get bad breakouts that last for weeks sometimes.

Is there any method for body-hair removal for people with sensitive skin? Every product SAYS they are, but none I've tries has worked well. Hair removal sprays have given me the worst results. What do some of you guys do to ward off the effects of skin irritation?

I just went over my whole body with a trimmer and then I very carefully started shaveing with a sensitive skin razor. I started doing this 1 month out from contest so my skin would get used 2 it and wouldn't get irritated as much. It worked well for me.

The irritiation is often caused from infection. You take the top layer of skin off when you shave...

A great way to avoid this is to spray right guard deoderant on where you shaved (it contains anti-bacterials). Or you can smear antibiotic ointment...I prefer the areosol spray. It makes me smell good, and its dry.

I don't get rashes or razor "burn" per say anymore. I even use a dull bic razor and soap.

About a month before the competition, you should shave all over in order to get the body used to the shaving. The deodorant suggestion is OK too.

Another good reason to shave early is to get a better tan during the tanning bed or sunlight sessions. It really helps.

How often did you have to shave to maintain it, str8flexed?
