I agree with your placings from 2006 onwards. Although I do not think Kai was robbed in 2012. From all the pics and video I have seen, I thought him and Phil were neck and neck at the prejudging, and at that point the contest could literally have been decided by a coin toss. However, Phil got a little bit better at the finals while Kai got a little flat. I also thought Phil was the more complete bodybuilder - Kai looked incomplete next to Phil in the rear relaxed and rear lat spread. So I thought Phil was the deserving victor in 2012.
2014 is the year Kai was robbed. From the pics and vid I've seen, Kai was clearly beating Phil at prejudging. This was due in no small part to Phil's horribly distended midsection, which really ruined the flow of his physique and made a mess of his front poses - most notably the FDB and FLS. Phil's midsection looked better at the finals, helping his overall physique. But I still think Kai edged him out at the finals. IMO Phil won all the side poses and the MM because his strongest body-parts (arms and delts) are heavily emphasised in those poses, allowing him to overpower Kai. However, Kai had better legs from every angle, a better midsection, a better back and better arms in the FDB. So in a nutshell, I thought Kai was better at both prejudging and finals. Kai was robbed.

You know, the guys from back in the day (competitors included) that really favor aesthetics often have Wheeler winning that show. Then again, the main one I recall going along that line of reasoning was Milos Sarcev, and he really favors aesthetics (possibly above all else).
I really favor aesthetics, but it's hard not to give Ronnie that win when he holds his own in aesthetics vs Wheeler, while easily outsizing him and totally blows him away in conditioning.

Now show him beating Ronnie in a MM pose in 2001.. dare you.. On stage standing next to Ronnie he did NOT look that impressive. Stage lighting and standing next to big Ron changes things A LOT.
That being said, I did find this decently HQ version of the 2001 Mr. O highlights from prejudging. They look a lot closer in size here than in some pics and Jay does look sharper, I can see why he won prejudging.

1980 ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER (7) - If Zane had not been injured prior to the show and showed up in his '79 condition, Zane would have won.
1981 TOM PLATZ (1) - Worst decision in history. Columbo would not even be in my top 5.
1982 CASEY VIATOR (1) - By todays standards Dickerson should not have won. He has numerous flaws.
1983 SAMIR BANNOUT (1) - I still think this is one of the greatest Olympia's ever. They chose the right champion.
1984 MOHAMED MAKKAWAY (1) - personal preference. I love his physique and his posing routine is flawless.
