I really didn't want to post it but I think the fans deserve to know the reason why Ramy's hams and glutes weren't up to par with the rest of his physique this year. 4 weeks out Ramy tore several fibers in his left hamstring during training. As you can see in the pictures I took 2 days after it happened, it wasn't just small deal. He wasn't able to train hams ,glutes or even quads for the last 4 weeks. We sat together and talked about pulling out of the Olympia for this year but Ramy in his warrior spirit said NO lets go and do it for the fans who waiting to see him on stage. It was a very hard last month for Ramy not being able to do cardio and things he needed to do and it did effect his performance. We didn't post or talked about it before the show because we didn't want to create drama and make it look like an excuse. Ramy is in good spirit and wants the fans to know he is ok with the outcome and will continue to improve. You can see the improvements he made and it will not end here that's a promise!
Thanks do David from STI for the many hours of therapy almost every day leading up to the show. He will travel to Europe today for the Arnold Classic in Spain and then continue to *****, Praque, San Marino and Finland for all the European and middle eastern fans to get to see Ramy compete with some of the best bodybuilders in the world. - DJ

Seems pretty legit.
No training in the torn area is one thing but also no cardio for a month out?! Dang. Hope the injury hasn't caused any permanent damage to his physique.
If BR can bring what he had in the front to the back/glutes/hams next year, probably looking at top 5-6 depending on how the other top bb's come in of course.
I actually had him over Branch this year despite the lack of detail in the glutes/hams et. He was just too overpowering IMO. That FDB is something to be reckoned with.THE LEVRONE 2016 MR. OLYMPIA COMEBACK

Yep lol
Do you even comprehension? He couldn't do cardio for the last month before the Olympia. He had every week since the NY pro before that to diet and do cardio, and four weeks to diet and 'supplement'.
Along with every week since the Ny Pro and only diet the last 4 weeks he should have come in far, far leaner than he did.
I swear you don't even read things sometimes.

Whoa, that looks terrible and it is a valid excuse. I hope there won't be long term impacts from this. I messed up a hamstring when I was in HS and it took me over a year to recover, it wasn't even a bad tear (if at all) but I overstretched it and it wasn't right. Man I remember limping for months, it messes with your head. As always, it goes to show how easy it is to derail a great competitor with injuries. While this was bad it doesn't seem like it was something absolutely terrible.

You must be one of the VERY few of us who walk around with striated glutes one month out.
Honestly you sound like a guy who has never competed before......and you even had the nerve to insult the guy having no idea how ignorant you sound.
This has actually made me a Ramy believer knowing he couldn`t get decent cardio in or work his legs for 4 weeks. Completely insane !

Let me ask you this, when has Ramy ever come with great conditioning? Conditioning that makes you go "wow he really brought it", NY pro 2013, no. Olympia 2013, no. NY pro 2014, no. Olympia 2014, no.
Who does come in condition, one guy who springs to mind who regularly posts photo is.
New pro Roman Fritz, this is Roman 6, 5, 4 weeks out:
And this is Roman not far out:
Roman comes in with great conditioning, Ramy has been unable to do so.
I'm sure things would be the same with Roman if you looked at pictures of Phil 6/5/4 weeks out, Justin Compton 6/5/4 weeks out. People who actually come in with good conditioning.
You are the ignorant one if you really think that those last 4 weeks really negatively impacted Ramy, yes they wouldn't have helped. BUT you're kidding yourself if you think that's why he was out of condition.

Is it an unrealistic expectation for him to come in conditioned? To draw another parallel to Roman Fritz^ he hasn't competed in a pro show yet, yet he has impeccable conditioning.
I am frustrated because Ramy has all the tools he needs, mass, shape, proportions, tight waist and all he needs to do is come in conditioned and there's no telling how far he can go.
I do not think DJ is the guy to do that.

Like I said in the O thread:It appears that DJ is good at getting his clients to 90-95%, but never 100%. Baito? 90%. Beyeke? 90%(sure he improved under dj but he hasn't come in 100% yet). none of DJ client's have some in fully 100% shredded
*off the top of my head
** yeah looking on DJ's instagram page and looking at all his clients he hypes up, none are ripped to the boneMS, Computer Science
