I've seen to many people take things for granted here. People complaining about girls, height, dick size, face, no gains etc etc. Nobody seems to realize how lucky they truly are.
The sheer chances that YOU are you; alive and conscious is near immeasurable infinite odds. If your dad was in traffic for 4 seconds longer on the day of your inception, you would not have ever been born as yourself. This goes back to even more odds from prior generations to near infinite.
The fact that you came out with no severe disabilities is even more astonishing. There are millions of people right now who will never know what it feels like to be a 'normal' human while you are complaining about being 5'7" instead of being 5'9". The even higher odds that you live in a first world country is even more astonishing.
Stay postive, stop complaining about minuscule issues and look at the bigger picture!

I think about this a lot. There are so many people out there suffering that I am unable to see with my own eyes. I try very hard to envision them, and allow them to weigh on my conceince, because the alternative is that I disregard their suffering.
It actually motivates me to be more successful. This motivation is twofold - I am extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to do great things with my life, while a majority of people are just trying to survive. Secondly, with my increased success, I am capable of directly and indirectly offering help to those that are less fortunate than me.
For instance, I just donated to the Water.org campaign championed by John Green in conjunction with Bill Gates to help get fresh water to Ethiopia. http://give.water.org/f/johngreen/?u...green_ethiopia** KNEE DRAGGERS UNITE **

I saw a documentary with a kid in Africa where both his parents had died from AIDS, he sent his younger brother and sister off to school each day, then when they came home he went through their homework and cooked all their meals. He was 10 years old. People on here talk about alpha this and alpha that but they aren't even on the radar.
Oh and looking at the misfortune of others to feel "positive" about yourself isn't where its at. The first step to escaping that attitude, is to simply realize it. Dig deep folks.u wot m1.68179283050742908606225095246644152⁴

You can only really compare yourself to your peers and not someone living in a 3rd world country. Because it is too removed from your life situation to properly assess imo. Same deal applies to trying to compare yourself to someone born into a billion dollar trust fund. It is so far removed from what you know as life it's impossible to compare.
