Week's going slow bro. I'm glad it's almost Friday. Although I just got a meeting scheduled from 4-5 pm tomorrow. Now I can't leave early

Two weeks ago, we got a cold weather storm up here and the snow level dropped to about 2000 feet. Some of the mountains around the Bay Area got a little bit of the white stuff. To really experience the snow though, you gotta drive east to Lake Tahoe and the Nevada border where all the ski resorts are.

Man it has been so cold here as well. There are tons of snows about 15 mins away from it. I didn't go check it out because it requires chains. It even snows in Vegas as well.

Weeks been going by fast. I think I need to get a massage though to work on my left shoulder blade, it has been brothering today today for no reason.

Happy Tuesday everyone! Not sure what is going on but been fighting this whatever thing I am having since last week. My eyes feel very dry and my forehead feels stuffed. I'm not full blown sick but just feel icky.
Plus my mom had to go to the hospital last week due to high blood pressure and other organs not working due to old age.

So I am trying something new with my workouts. The next 4 weeks I will be just doing front squats instead of alternating front and back squats each week. Yesterday I did 8 sets x 3 reps of front squats, 3 sets x 10 reps elevated split squats, 4 sets x 8 reps rdls and 3 sets x 8 reps GHR with 10lb kettlebell. My legs and glutes are fried today. Hopefully the front squats would give me enough strength to increase my back squats.

I am not even 65 yet but I already shrink a couple inches.

I didn't get a lot of gifts especially yours. Where is my baby gift? I am expecting a gift to be arrived with a la si bundle together.

I don't think Zion will get fail time, but they will have to pay a huge fine for sure and be on the watch list.

So glad we are getting some extra rains than we normally get. We need it big time. More is coming for Thursday and Friday.

Guess what, I went to have that baked catfish wrap again. We ordered an XXL and just had enough for 4 person with some extra toward the end.

I know we need the rain but I'm getting tired of getting rain only on the weekends. Sucks that we cannot enjoy the weekends. We definitely got our winter this year.

Managing has its own challenges but can be very rewarding as well. But sometimes, I do envy individual contributors as the singular focus makes things simpler.

The Googleplex is pretty cool.

I want to see the Apple spaceship, but I'm sure it's closed to outsiders. Unless there's a tour or something.

With your front squat routine, I think in 4 weeks, you will some some huge growth in your quads. I think I need to do that too and give up back squat since every time I back squat, I feel the pain badly for the next few days.

It was pretty big, I think it filled us up due to the grease. There are a huge of oil and grease at the bottom of it. Of course we couldn't let any foods go to waste so we still ate it despite is not thing but oil.

To me it doesn't matter if it rains on the weekend or week days because I am usually at work. But it does sucks since I do want to hike afterward. Planned to do my first hike this weekend to starts off my hiking season and looks like I have to cancel it now. How often do you hike?

My mom is doing okay. She is out of the hospital but my siblings and I are taking turn caring for her. If you have traditional Asian parents you would know that they can be pretty dramatic when you don't do things for them right away. However, I understand that we will be that age in the future. Can't beat old age.

Hahaha.. not sure about quads growing big. Don't want to eat too much and become a bloatlord. You should give front squats a try. It definitely hits your core pretty good. I get hungrier after front squats than back squats.

That baked catfish is such a misadvertisement. Why do they put so much oil on the baked fish? Shouldn't it be more healthy since it is baked?

Can you go somewhere else to hike this weekend? I don't think it will rain everywhere. Which location were you planning to hike.

I had a back surgery 2 years ago and I think it is also due to my weak legs.

If I can just focus on leg and core strength then I might do better at back squats instead of relying on my back. This will be a good experiment for me.

In that case, I need apply to Apple. LOL. I don't mind paying if they allow tourists to get in there. What was the analysis or thesis that your son did for the science fair? I still remember mine and I got second place.
