You might want to check with a reputable chiro who is specialized in sports medicine.
I went through some personal hell with back spasms, trigger points in my back etc. Went from bad to debilitating pretty quick.

I have thought about it but just waiting to see if it will go away. So far, it is improving and about 70% recovered. That feeling sucks. Can't walk without having to hunch over.

What happened to your back? Is it all good now after seeing the chiro?

Series of unfortunate events at work, I got injured, developed myofascia, ended up seeing 3 different doctors who couldn't figure it out what was wrong with me.
Got in the hands of a bad chiro who dislocated a rib in my middle back, looong story short, I found the specialist in sports medicine and this chiro probably saved me from surgery. He put that rib back in place about 4-5 times before it stopped popping out.
Myofascia is chronical. I never fully recovered, still struggling with the pain when working out. It is what it is.
