A message for Kai:
Please don't be dis-heartened. You inspire so many!
You are gracious in defeat. A lot of people see you as the champ.
Remember your fans.
And continue on for them. Your day will come.
When all the stars have burnt out, yours will be shining so bright.

Winning Mr Olympia is a goal, sometimes we don't achieve what we believe and perceive as our destiny, but maybe, just maybe a vast universe of potential will open up for Kai L Greene and he will float off leaving the gravity of the IFBB solar system behind, thankful for his time in that construct he will then depart free to experience and grow
.We all know who the "fans" not the judges voted for and it was KAI GREENE. UNDISPUTED PEOPLES CHAMP.Smarten up? NO! SPARTAN UP!

For some reason, when you see Kai win a show you feel so good about his win because you know how hard he works, and how much the victory means to him.. He doesn't ramble about dedicating his victory to XYZ. He's genuinely humble and respects all his opponents. And you can see that his IFBB peers respect him much more than they respect Phil. Take this for an acceptance speech:

Kai has the respect from the thousands and thousands he has entertained, awed and inspired over the years. He has taught us that if you believe, you can achieve. He is a true inspiration, a true legend and will forever be the people's champ, not only because of his drive, determination and perseverance but also because of his acts of humility in the face of both victory and defeat.

That would imply Kai was clearly better than Phil at this Olympia. He wasn't. Like I said before, neither was dominating the other this year, and Phil edged him out.
Thing is, I'm a huge Kai fan. I didn't try getting under people's skin. OP said this was supposed to be a classy thread and then goes off spouting disrespectful comments about Phil. Strong irony and hypocrisy.

Hope the higher ups in ifbb can see how highly and classy he represents himself and bb, win/loss w.e not only that but the amount of fans that support him.
Kai's has come a long way, dont think his journey ends here. In a way its good to have politics and someone like phil to edge over a win. It just gives kai a reason to do even better. The coming of the Manlet saviour

Honestly no I don't. He handles himself very well all things considered. If I have offended him I sincerely apologise. We are all only human and this is an emotional time.
That said, you aren't taking this one away from us. Not in this thread. You have your own thread for that. Kai was equal or very close to Phil in all the judging criteria but well and truly trumped Phil on size (the lower half of the body wasn't even close). That makes him the victor. The conditioning/aesthetics card doesn't stand up this time.Natural Bodybuilding - The Lonely Journey
