Not sure if all the OV35 would be interested in something like this, but some have asked me how I generate power behind my punch.
Now as I am saying in the video, I would hope most know/understand that power comes from the hip/legs if you don't then well you need to know a hell a lot more about hitting.
What I am demonstrating in the video is the mental aspect of generating power. Didn't want to make the video too long but if you look at the intended target (someones face) and you aim at that, when you strike and "hit" the target you will pull back before you truly generated enough force to do any real damage. (which is what most people do)
If you hit "through" the target (someones face) because you have a mental target behind the "true" target, you will not pull back once the target is hit, therefore you generate much more force trying to go "through" the target, causing more damage.

Just like any sport really, you hit through instead of to. Hitting a golf ball or baseball, kicking a football even throwing a football by keeping your arm moving at high speed through the throw not slowing down as the ball is released. I bet his hands hurt from that exercise...

Ohhh so you just didn't fight anymore, I see your rationale...
So my statement still stands, its never too late to stop getting your ass beat...I mean if by any chance you find your balls and have to stand up to someone as a man,,,,,ohhh wait talking to the wrong guy.....carry onOn the list for Bannukah

This could be helpful. I've got a couple of Third Graders this year that I'd like to punch out!
Edit: Punching students is highly frowned upon by district administration. Punching central office administrators is equally offensive! If you absolutely have to 'hit something,' a bottle of high grade alcohol is advised.paolo59

Probably not something most people stop and think about. I've known this for as long as I can remember but that's what happens when you have an older brother that was no stranger to a good brawl.
Get some frozen peas for your boy's paws. You know sparring pads would have worked just as well."Sammiches are like sets of 20 rep squats; if you need a second one, the first one wasn't heavy enough." - DuracellBunny

So you are not just an internet tough guy, you are one IRL as well?
Seriously though I hear ya and although it is pretty much common sense, lots of men have no idea how to even throw a punch much less throw one with some conviction behind it!!
Yeah I have some in the garage, just wanted to make a quick video and forgot how hard I can hit even though I pulled back some.On the list for Bannukah

Hard and precise, gotta have both. A right or left cross to the center of the ear is one of the most effective strikes IMO. All of the balance and equilibrium comes from the inner ear, so a hard shot to the ear will leave anyone unable to stand. Not one to practice sparring because the chance of perforating the ear drum is pretty high.

Haha, no the tough guy handle is just a gag. But I know how to throw a good punch and take one if I have to. Got a hard head, just ask my wife, lol.
In talking with a martial arts instructor he made the statement that probably 10% of men knew how to fight, throw a punch etc. He went on to say only about 1% would know what to do on the ground. I imagine his assessment isn't that far off."Sammiches are like sets of 20 rep squats; if you need a second one, the first one wasn't heavy enough." - DuracellBunny

No argument from me there, but I was just demonstrating where I generate power from as I have knocked out (broke some jaws, noses, cheeks etc etc) to people 3x my size and some were asking where and how I generated the power.
The throat is by far the weakest (and most effective) part in any man regardless of size. But to hit the throat you have to have speed and precession.
I am not sure of those numbers, however regardless if they could, I know there aren't many real men left in this pussified world we live in now.On the list for Bannukah
