Ah, yep there is no penalty for missing maintenance by 100 cals though. Patience I never had on the mega cut either.
You probably will have renewed vigor when you start up again. It's like a deload from the gym, just getting all bouncy like tigger day you go back to training full steam. Pounds will probably fly off when the time comes after a good break.
Just keep the YOLOing down to a dull roar!
tfw the gif you wanted to use is broken....The most important aspect of weight training; whether for the athlete, bodybuilder, or average person is to better ones health and ability without injury. - Bill Pearl

YOLOing in full effect. Food does wonders for mood. Lifting is fun again. Cardio doesn't even bother me...definitely feeling like tigger. Good analogy.
LOL!!!!! Our oldest is 18 and is off to UMASS in the fall. We're old (well, he's older than me). No worries, there's no quiz...you can still pretend I'm 22.Kristen

Anyway. I've just been llazy about posting. Rightnow outside it sounds lke a cat is having the time of it's life meowing away. I live exciting life.
Oh! in other news last friday i went golfing for 9 holes. First time. I felt like a real man. lol. Too bad i suck. The good news is, i don't suck as bad as i thought.
Also in soccer i think i finally found the "sweet spot" on my foot to generate the most force with least effort when shooting and long passing. It was a glorious week of soccer, and i wish i couple play more, but my body would make me pay. too bad it took 5 years.
Let's get talking people I'm in a pretty good mood!

You're losing weight because that pair of sandwiches has probably around 500 calories, so you're eating a 500 calorie dinner. Going by that you're entire daily intake probably isn't over 1500-2000 if you eat similar meals.
THAT is why you are losing weight, not because you aren't eating carbs.
You make it sound like your one of those tin foil hat anti carb guys that thinks eating low-carb is the only way to lose fat, apologies if you aren't.
Carbs don't make you gain fat, excess calories do. There are benefits to low carb like a protein centered macronutrient profile, satiation, and perhaps better body composition when cutting on VERY LOW calories, but it's not the only way. Again, ignore if you know this.
Personally, I'd only ever do low carb high protein if I was under 1500 calories and my caloric intake couldn't afford carbs (ie. couldn't reach my protein goal if I ate carbs too on 1500 calories)Last edited by moore93; 06-26-2015 at 07:33 AM.

I did not say that my weight loss was caused by me eating fewer Carbs and Sugar.
My weight loss was caused by me eating fewer Calories than I used to, and most of those cut Calories are refined Carbs and Sugars.
I come from an extended family where baked goods are king.
Until I learn to eat it moderately, I choose not to have it.
I was simply answering a question about my user name.
Wasn't trying to make a statement or anything.
I came to this thread because I thought people chill here.
Kind of a cool, refreshing concept, compared to other sections of the forum where people grind each other.
Even the first post asks posters not to ask questions about weight loss.
It appears that I would have to change my user name, or start eating some cream puffs, in order to fit in.
Seems much easier than the spiritual ritual suggested on the previous page.
I'll think about it

Nawww you don't. You asked for initiation and you got it lol. We respect your decision in how you choose to diet down. Pretty much we just want to make sure you aren't ignorant to the fact that you can have the carbs and sugars if you wanted toand still lose. He did say ignore if you already know this. Don't take it as a personal attack (if you did at all).
That said,
Welcome!!!! (you've also been repped)
